Look elsewhere
October 26, 2021I regret living here. Every time I've had a maintenance request, the workers always leave a mess in my apartment - tracking dirt in, leaving water trails, and scuffing and chipping doors. The residents here have no regard for their community. There is constantly trash everywhere and many dog owners do not pick up after their dogs. The stairs and hallways leading up to the apartment are always dirty and the lights do not always work. Deceptive Moneygrab Right When You Try to Leave
November 29, 2016Enjoyed my time in a Breckenridge Apartment, a Blue Ridge Company Apartment, until they got me with a deceptive moneygrab right when I was trying to leave. When you sign a lease from A date to B date you expect to be able to move out on B date right? Well thanks to 2 lines about a 60-day written notice in their who knows how many page lease agreement that’s not the case, you have to pay for the apartment until 60 days after you sign the notice. They’re nice enough to call and remind you about it… ...a couple weeks AFTER the start of the 60 days from when you originally planned to leave. But they send you a couple reminder emails the month before about it…. with the reminder of the 60-day notice hidden at the bottom of a “Lease Renewal” email advertising a new lease rate which you won’t read if you’re not planning on renewing. The best part is when everyone you contact about it in management says sorry we get this all the time, but no exceptions. You’d think if it happened all the time maybe they’d try to do something about it? Paying a few weeks rent for an apartment I’m not going to be using has definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth after an otherwise enjoyable experience.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Love it!
April 1, 2016I have really enjoyed living here. We are on the 3rd floor, so we don't have an issue with noise, but I could see how the lower floors have issues with people above them. I feel like I have to tiptoe so it doesn't sound like Hulk lives upstairs. Any maintenance requests have been taken care of very quickly, usually by the next day. The rooms are large and the apartment was very clean when we moved in. I do feel like it is time to replace our carpet, so hopefully when we move out they will do ...that. The pool is very nice and the exercise room as all the equipment you need. I love using it. I have always felt safe here. My only complaint is parking. It is okay during the day, but if it is after about 8 pm you have to park really far away from your building. It would not be such a problem if guests were not parking in resident spots. May 23, 2014I'd recommend it (and have) to anyone looking to move to Hattiesburg. Likes and suggestions: This place is wonderful. It's close but not too close to everything in the area. The staff members are very friendly, and the whole complex is very clean. Parking is super easy, pets are welcome (which is very hard to find here in Hattiesburg), and there is a diverse group of people living here. It's not loud, but you can enjoy having friends and family over without feeling like you're bothering other ...people. Likes and suggestions: After moving in, I absolutely understand what others have complained about regarding noise (really wish they had a 3rd floor available for me). They do not use high quality floor padding under the carpets, which causes anything above a slow walk to be noisy. This is the only apartment I have ever lived in where this was an issue. May 23, 2014Great place to live BUT the walls here are PAPER THIN and when somebody complains over walking steps or cause your washing, you better expect a notice on your door. Notices don't look to good on your renting history and when your really not doing anything that is ridiculous. People who stay in apartments and the office staff need to realize it is an APARTMENT if you don't want the noise or whatever don't stay in an apartment. I have heard of other residents complain about the office is quick to ...stick a notice on your door about noise violations and we are talking about normal noises that come with apartments not like throwing parties.
