Wonderful place to call home. Comfortable and modern apts. Well maintained and clean. Very helpful and very understanding office staff that truly care about the residents!! The maintenance crew are top notch and truly care about the residents needs and do a brilliant job!! The Bricks are very pet friendly and care about residents pets needs as well. The common areas are always clean! Lots of parking space too!! Thank you!!!!!

Greystar is an incompetent private equity firm that needs creditors to re-evaluate their underwriting. They are cutting corners for short term cashflow that are now catching up to them in reduced rents. Best they sell what they can’t manage for everyone involved.

Love that everything is energy efficient, the layout of their floor plans are perfect and their dedication to maintaining customer service is beyond satisfactory. Living within a clean & friendly community setting is important and they make that a priority.
Overpriced and took money that was not theirs

When I first moved into this property it was managed by BH Management- briefly. BH Management provided a $12 renters insurance policy which I opted for. After a few months of living at this property it was bought over by Greystar. Horrible management. Impossible to reach. Greystar gave the residence notice that they would no longer be providing that $12 insurance and we would need to provide proof of insurance on our own. I found an insurance policy and uploaded the documents as soon as possible. ...
I typically paid my rent in advance and I was naive and trusted that I was being charged what I needed to be charged monthly. On my last month I was told to pay a specific prorated amount that I was told directly from management - which I paid early. They tried to charge me for a full months rent and a late fee. I also noticed that for the last 9 months they were charging me the $12 insurance amount that they stated they were no longer offering. I paid $108 total for that renters insurance that they no longer provided. I had to fight tooth and nail to get that amount back since it was not rightfully theirs and then they stated that I would only be getting $50 of it back due to a return of an $8 charge. I paid exactly what I was told to pay. This place is a mess and it is heavily overpriced. I would not recommend this complex.

The Bricks Waukee East is a great community to chose if you want to live in the Waukee/West Des Moines area. Great location and proximity to a lot of nice businesses. Great interiors, great amenities, pet friendly, and all together just a really nice community to be a part of with a staff that is very good at communicating with their residents. Would definitely recommend!
