Slightly misleading

It’s a nice complex and all but the pics are definitely misleading. Not all units are updated with nice countertops and light fixtures etc. There are actually three different types of packages to be specific. They don’t tell you this upfront on their website when picking out a floor plan/unit. I had to find out when I got my keys and first stepped foot in my unit that I actually have a middle level unit which only has stainless steel appliances and no updated counters, lights and nest thermostat. ...
Just wanted to warn the next person to double check if that’s what you’re looking for in an apartment. Also another thing is the gate is never working for my side of the complex. A little disheartening since all the other gates work fine. I can’t speak for how maintenance is cause thankfully I haven’t had any issues yet.

Update to my previous rodent reviews: I have lived here for 3 years and there have been some recent concerns with critters (as happens at times with a wooded community), but after a bit of time, management got on board with the recommendations from a professional pest inspector and it is being handled in a permanent way, versus temporary and ineffective ways. RATS!!!!

There is a known rat and mouse infestation! The pest inspector let us know the complex knew about the infestation and they continue to not address it. Rats happen. Not addressing the issue is not okay. They are literally chewing through the walls to get into the apartment. Our place is clean, with all food sources removed. They have crawled on my children's bed and I cannot sleep in my room because of droppings and health hazards. This has been a month of pest control and maintenance requests to ...
repair entrance holes, so not someone just expecting immediate response even. Multiple chances and time frames given, yet I am being run out of my apartment! DO NOT MOVE HERE unless willing to pay out of pocket for extensive pest control, health bills and to replace clothes and food.

service from maintenance is enough to make me want to move

Expect to wait days/weeks/months to hear back on an issue and after repeated attempts to fix something they KNOW is broken, they tell you to just deal with it. This is if they even respond to your request at all. At move in i had several requests that were ignored and weeks later i was asked if they were still an issue. i have never dealt with this level of customer service from a maintenance dept in my life. I have only lived here for a few months and i regret moving here already.

I really enjoy living here, but it does have its downsides. The pool is very pretty and clean, but they have the Jacuzzi boarded up for some reason. The gym and laundromats are great and open 24/7 so I can access them even if I have to work late. The staff is friendly and helpful, but I keep getting noisy neighbors above me and I feel terrible having to call the office on them, but when you have a house party until 5am it is kind of needed. I hope that the new management team and the company that ...

These apartments are absolutely wonderful! When I first moved in, I was a first time apartment renter. The staff is very patient and friendly. They helped answer the millions of questions I had. They provided me with multiple options to help fit my needs and we viewed all of them! Not only is the staff friendly but the people living in these apartments are very nice too. The inside of the apartments just recently got updated with black and stainless steal appliances, giving them a really modern ...
and sleek look. They have two pools(with hot tubs) and a ton of grassy areas most of which have shade so you won’t get too hot. The entire complex is maintained well and is very spacious which works perfectly for walking pets. Also, these apartments are located in a great area! They're right by the highway making it easy to get places. Right across the highway you’ll find Southpark Meadows, filled with tons of stores and restaurants. Overall, these apartments are amazing and affordable! I would definitely recommend Stonegate as a great living place!

Dining area is separate off the living room with overhead light. Lots of windows - 1 lg in living room & 2 in dining area. Carpeted with a nice blended array of brown/beige hues (doesn't show dirt easily)in Lv. Rm & Dining Rm. Large wrap around balcony - Exterior storage area (30 sq ft) located next to the apt front entrance. Kitchen area is narrow with laundry area (W/D Connections)at the far end with a built-in pantry. Kitchen & Bath has faux wood planks. Bath has lots of drawers in sink area. Small linen area behind the door. Bedroom is decent size & closet is good size. The property, staff & apt are great! If I decide to leave it would be because of what I'm about to tell you. You cannot chose your cable provider - you must use AT&T U-Verse! 2 yr contract & then once your 2 yr contract is up AT&T jacks the price up beyond belief!!! So keep that in mind if you are considering Stone Gate.
