        I had asked the rent renewal info and they just ignored me more than 1.5months (reminded several times) and they said they can't do what we had agreed at my move-in. They raises the rent nearly 10% every year even they don't do their obligations. What a managemt.

        Pros: Location - The main reason why I’ve stayed for almost 4 years. Short walk to Target, shopping, and restaurants. Short drive to downtown San Mateo and downtown San Carlos. Very safe. Amenities - Tall ceilings, wood-burning fireplace, and the open floor plan makes sense. Fixtures are new-ish, but kind of cheap. Stainless appliances. Pricing is competitive for the area. Maintenance - If there is an issue, the maintenance team is on it within a day or so. They are friendly and ...
        accommodating. Cons: Management: Same issues year over year. Poor planning and communication to residents about community projects. Projects take much longer than stated and no updates are given. Day-before-notification of safety inspections (fire alarm, fire sprinklers, fireplace inspection, balcony inspection, unit-condition inspection) where workers enter your apartment whether you’re there or not, and none of these are done on the same day, so you’ll deal with this 4-5 times a year.

        Pros: Location is fantastic - close to restaurants, shopping and easy access to the 92 and 101 freeways. Apartments are nicely appointed with modern finishes and upgraded stainless steel appliances. The ceilings are so tall that even a small 1 bedroom apartment feels spacious. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Cons: There is only one pool area for the entire apartment complex, which gets overrun by large families whom which most of the people doubtfully even live there. This occurs ...
        nearly every weekend when the weather is nice for the entire day. Management is not good with communication when it comes to projects going on in the community. They are good about reminding you about how rent is due at the 1st of the month, but don't follow up consistently on the status of community projects, or when a fire alarm drill will go off. Need better communication when it comes to when service requests are gong to be fulfilled too (you never know when they'll show up).

        I've had a generally positive experience living at Bridgepointe. The location is convenient, and most of the amenities are well-kept. Some aspects could benefit from additional attention, like increased frequency of pest control and cleanliness of common areas. Maintenance requests are typically handled well in a timely manner.

        We love Bridgepointe, the new manager has made a lot of improvements with communication and fixing many ongoing problems. The gates have finally been fixed and amenities always improving. The area is great for shopping and you can walk many places.

        I strongly recommend to avoid the 1st floor. Many insects are coming from nowhere.. I found lots of ants in the kitchen even I am cleaning carefully.

        So far been great. I like all the upgrades and additional amenities coming on line (EV charging), and the improved vendors (now have concierge recycling as well as trash).

        Very peaceful, clean and well maintained. Regular maintenance, gym and swimming pool are great. Nice events are held occasionally for residents. But has the issues of packages getting lost.
