I do not recommend this place.
To begin with, I was given an apartment that was in poor condition. The closet doors were falling off and it took more than two months for them to be repaired. The cabinet paint was peeling, there were cockroaches, and the cabinets were dirty both inside and outside.
Despite all of that, I did my best to keep the apartment in better condition than the way it was when I moved in.
However, after moving out, I was charged $180 for cleaning because they claimed I ...
cleaned the apartment myself instead of hiring a professional cleaning company and providing an invoice. On top of that, they are charging me nearly $300 to repaint the cabinets, even though they were already dirty and the paint was peeling when I received the apartment. I even explained that the maintenance team was aware of these issues, but they completely ignored my concerns.
I don't understand how they can charge me for damages or conditions that already existed when they handed me the apartment. At the time, I urgently needed a place to live, so I accepted the apartment without filing a formal complaint. That does not change the fact that these problems were there from the beginning.
Overall, my experience has been very disappointing, and I believe these charges are unfair and unreasonable. I would not recommend living here.
