Fair Share of Problems But It's Home

There is no doubt that this apartment building has its fair share of problems but it also has several good aspects. Pros: The rent is affordable in comparison to other apartments in Los Angeles County. The utilities are paid. The front lawn is well tended. The managers are helpful and nice. When a problem occurs the staff tries to fix it in an efficient and timely fashion. The building is within walking distance to the metro, shopping areas, parks, and schools. Most of the residents are ...
neighborly. Cons: One of the managers does not speak English and the other's English is limited. There is an active industrial train which runs twice a day on most weekdays in the back of the building. The pool was recently filled in because the upkeep was too expensive. Across the railroad, the neighbors have a lot of kids and give loud parties.
