Don't leave too early
May 3, 2023I was paid up left before my 60 days. They kepted my deposit and sent me to collections. 'Though you gave us notification you vacated prior to your 60 days.' Is the email I got back. I had cockroachs 4 times, all they did was put sticky traps out. When I moved in they didn't even shampoo the carpet. I have my gripes. But I wish they would stop screwing with me. They got their money and want more. I'd encourage you not to move here.Property Manager Responded

Money talks...
September 21, 2022This review comes from 2 years of slow rot through my stay. To begin with and to keep people from looking around this locale, the area is absolutely not a safe place despite the closeness to a penitentiary and SLED Headquarters; rather, it appears to make the raff all the more emboldened to have a little fun with their guns as I hear shots typically at an interval of once a month. Loud cars and music booming through the thin walls are always present every weekend, and otherwise the smoke and ...marijuana smell is ever-present. Second, the apartments themselves and the common areas are always filthy, with glass and used cigars aplenty along the parking lots and bugs galore gather up onto your atrium that you have to pass to enter your apartment. These walkways are simply sprayed with foul bleach every few months. The roaches always find a way inside after, if you didn't already see them. The laundry facilities aren't better and typically smell of urine, on top of them forcing us to use an app now that makes you deposit 10 dollars into it for a single $3.25 washer and dryer cycle when they used to at least be coin operated. I had an issue with my dishwasher that kept it out of service for OVER A YEAR AND A HALF and the people that seldom came by regardless of the many calls said they'd get something to fix it. Only when we had to say it was going to damage the unit below us (because the thing wasn't draining and overflowing onto our floor) did we have the chance to get anyone who knew what they could do after 4 different people had checked; the same thing with an AC leak. If it damages their apartment, then they'll care. In truth, it probably isn't the maintenance people who I presume are underpaid and stretched far too thin over these awful premises for these problems. My door will only properly close if I bolt it shut due to the jamb literally about to hang off. I will always lock it with the aforementioned area issues. Do yourself a favor; spend another 100 on rent somewhere else instead and enjoy life. I promise it will be worth it somewhere else.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT MOVE HERE
October 19, 2020I made the mistake of moving here. I have had constant leaks (unresolved regardless of multiple reportings) I literally have pages of documentation of unresolved or poorly resolved maintence issues, because it's that bad. Everything about this apartment is cheaply made. CARDBOARD DOORS. Literally. And the staff you get on the phone when you actually get them on the phone is incredibly rude. Outside the apartments is incredibly disgusting as well, the upkeep is nonexistent everywhere here! Do ...yourself a favor and steer clear! Disappointing is an Understatement
June 18, 2020The apartment reeked of cigarettes and must, and the place constantly smelled of weed the entire time I was there. There was garbage in the parking lots all the time, and the residents and neighborhood are not quiet. Management does not communicate at all, they repeatedly dodged my calls, and when I could get a hold of someone they never followed up like they said they would or they would say the property manager was "busy". The price has increased since I was there which makes it even less ...desirable considering that internet is not included in the unit and it costs at least $3 every time you do laundry. Brook Pines
March 10, 2020Brook Pines is a nice area. It’s not too far from the local Harbison shopping area as well as Dutch square. The Leasing staff there is amazing and they are enthused and professional when it comes to touring the property and helping you make Brook Pines your new home. Maintenance is awesome! They definitely make sure your needs are met and completed. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who’s looking for an affordable price and great amenties!Property Manager Responded

The Best Aprtment
October 10, 2015At first I was a little nervous about getting this place because of the reviews bit once I went to go check it out I loved it is very affordable and spacious with just enough room I really love how there is new carpet and tile flooring. Plus the maintenance people keep the outside looking stunning. Whats not to like about brook pines?
