Disingenuous Management Practices
August 21, 2020Lived here from Feb 2019 - June 2020. The building is charming, but the honestly way too expensive for what you get. Similarly sized units can be had for $300-$400 cheaper, especially given that you only get 1 parking space offsite. Management was subpar for the first several months. Had problems with roaches, ants, and pantry bugs. The "amenities" were poorly maintained, dog poop everywhere, and the air conditioning/heater was inadequate for the cold winter months. Halfway through our stay the ...management changed and was more responsive to residents' concerns and more responsible with repairs and bugs. Would have given the place 3 stars, but 2 full stars off for stealing a part of my deposit money for "professional cleaning." We had a verbal agreement that if we cleaned the place ourselves, we would receive the full refund. We spent half a day meticulously cleaning every inch of the apartment, returning it in a cleaner state than it was when we moved in. I contacted the manager requesting that the retained portion of the refund be returned, with no response.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
