      A very good choice

      I have been at Brookside for almost a year and I have really enjoyed it as a place to live. My top two priorities were find a safe and quiet location. A family member found a unit in the back corner on the top floor and it’s been a very good fit. Maintenance is usually very on top of having things completed, which is really important to me. They have a AI robot that can take maintenance requests when needed, and I think that’s pretty cool. There was an issue with an excessive barking dog for a ...
      lady that moved in below me and although it took time, which wasn’t property management’s fault, it was resolved. I was impressed that it was dealt with and really appreciate the Property Management for that. There are a lot of dogs barking but Management is very on top of how much barking it is. The only real minus is being down the street from Buchanan airport and having airplanes fly around, for flying lessons I think, 7 days a week and sometimes almost all day. Otherwise I am very pleased I chose this apartment complex. It is gated, safe, fairly quiet, and located near a few nice trails.I definitely recommend living here.

      Overall, it is somewhat clean and the management is attentive to a glaring issue, especially maintenance. But, the lack of enforcement of community rules ruins this place.       literally walked into the office one time and the asst. property manager was asleep on the couch. Residents throw trash on top of dumpsters which creates mess and pests and then we pay $30 a month for pest control which is incredibly annoying. I am moving out when my lease is up. Hopefully sooner. Oh, and good luck if there is going to be a water shutdown or something. There is ZERO communication from management, except for rent, but then they screw that up, too.

      I love to live at Brookside Apartments, my kids feels safe. Laundry rooms are clean. And my dog is very happy to be taking on walks by the canal trail. This is a great place and very convenient, close to restaurants and stores.

      Brookside is a great community that allows animals. Pool and hot tub are a plus. The laundry rooms are convenient and taken care of. The community5 years ago was mostly college kids that came and went but now it is more family oriented.
