Previous Tenant considering to move back
February 19, 2020I found the staff to be kind and the townhomes well kept. We got most of our deposit back after moving out even though our dogs chewed on the brand new carpet. We live there for about 2 years before buying our own home. I have considered moving back and have fond memories there! The only reason I took off a star was with so many people in one space there was often food or trash collecting in the grass and my dogs often got into it while walking or glass bottles on the sidewalk we'd often have to ...avoid. The rent on the new townhomes went up by about 200 dollars after the first year and the again. Which is partly why we left. However, the new homes are beautiful and more space then I need! I think I'd be happy with a remodeled 2 bedroom home which is in my opinion well priced and have considered with life changes moving there myself. :)Property Manager Responded

Do not Live Here!!!!
March 6, 2017Brookwood is a terrible place to live. The staff is horrible and is always trying to get money from you in some way and they never fix issues. Someone broke into our mail box and they would not fix it for 2 weeks because they said that it was not there responsibility! I made calls to the post office many times but it took forever to get it fixed and my mail was still being put in the box. If you have kids I really would not live here because everything is made cheap and falls apart. We had the ...doors come out of the frames and the laundry door fell down and almost hit our dog. Once we ended our lease they sent us over $1,000 in damages and charges! This is not a joke, we cleaned everything top to bottom but we had charges for things that were damaged when we got there and were even written down on the move in list. They charge you for things like not cleaning the vents or ceiling fans even charged us for dirt on the outside porch! These are the worst people and renting experience of my life!!!! I believe that these people get on here and write there own review because all of the people who lived around us had the same complaints.
