FALSE ADVERTISING IN THIS APARTMENTS
May 21, 2026I do not recommend this place at all; living here is absolutely terrible. They never fix any reaper inside my apartment it’s been 8months and still waiting to be fix, To make matters worse, there is a cockroach infestation; they claim to fumigate, but I suspect they’re just using water because the roaches never go away. As for the parking lot—aside from the fact that there aren't enough spaces they only have the ones you have to paid, there are swarms of black ants everywhere that crawl right ...into your car. The entire lot is riddled with potholes; your car ends up looking like a clunker because you swerve to avoid one hole only to fall right into another! Furthermore, their advertising is misleading: they don't even open the swimming pool, the machines in the gym don't work, and in the laundry room, many of the washers and dryers are usually broken—and they take forever to repair them. Sun Colony used to claim they wouldn't allow aggressive dogs, but now they let people keep them, even if the animals lunge right at you. And to top it all off, they’ve started charging an exorbitant fee for trash collection for every single apartment. Sun Colony DO NOT abide by their contract.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Don't rent in those apartments.
May 16, 2026Don't rent in those apartments. They have terrible management, they don't fix things that break, and it takes months to get anything fixed. They charge you for garbage collection, there's not enough parking, and you have to pay for private parking. The pool isn't open, and they say it will be open in the summer, but they don't open it. In the gym, not all the machines work, and they don't fix them. They take forever to repair things, and the managers just give excuses. September 18, 2024After a year of living here, the experience has been great. Management is great, pool is always available, neighbors are friendly & they’re working on the fitness center already, which is a great add on. Peaceful but it floods
March 29, 2022Our downstairs apt flooded completely lost a lot of furniture. Even our cars had so much damage from the all the flooding. We had no choice but to move out mid lease due to all the maintenance work needed to be done…Review from Apartments.com

February 18, 2020My wife and I moved in a couple months ago and are still here. I couldn’t be safer and happier with the move in. Nice apartment in and out with calm breeze and HEB across the street. Just moved here
November 22, 2019My wife, child and I just moved here. We love it. We would drive by here on our way to work and decided to stop in. We got more than we expected. I work at a furniture company and we were happy to finally call it our home and furnish it however we want. We applied a few months ago while they go our apartment ready and it is more than we expected. Our home is so nice and everything is new. We like the people who work here and the people form the office take care of us and we feel appreciated. ...They delivered gifts for all the tenants for Thanksgiving..honestly who does that? Love living Here
August 27, 2019My husband and I moved here 6 months ago. We love the location. We have the grocery store and restaurants close by. The office staff at Sun Colony is by far the most organized. The leasing office send us a newsletter every month to inform us on the monthly services provided, activities and anything going on here at the complex.
