DO NOT LEASE HERE!!!! RUN!!!
October 15, 2024If you value your belongs absolutely do not lease here. The doors are always broken. The mailroom doors has been broken for well over a year. The front door to the community area is always broken. People will steal your packages. Cars are broken into the parking garage gate is never closed. You will have roaches in your unit. The management and leasing staff are a joke. They can care less about any complaints. Don’t waste your hard earned money on the apartment complex. RUN!!!!Property Manager Responded

Very Disappointed
April 3, 2024Leased a one bedroom sight unseen, thinking the apartment would be a great place to call home. Turns out my furniture won't fit and management has been entirely unhelpful stating Im unable to transfer to a larger unit for 6 months. The lease addendum signed by both myself and a representative of their company says 3 months for transfer eligiblility, yet they are unwilling to budge or make an exception knowing I leased this place without having seen it in person. Wish I had a better experience but ...I'm without a doubt regretting my decision to lease at this property. Very disappointed not only because of the lack of customer support, but because, from a human standpoint, I feel taken advantage of and unappreciated as a tenant having paid a lot more money to this property compared to several other properties who would gladly make my experience as a paying customer their utmost priority. Do Not Live Here
January 14, 2024Burnett Lofts or BL is not a place to call home. Hallways are never vacuumed much less cleaned. Trash chutes broken over a year, promised to fixe yet never do. The two tiny dumpsters for entire community always overflowing very trashy. Homeless constantly roaming property area you can high five them from your patio. They dumpster dive daily. One was found sleeping in the dog park. No recycling program. No gym. No store fronts. A nonsecure parking garage nightmare that is NOT safe. BL gave garage ...floors 1 to 3 to the city who arbitrarily decided to take over the vast majority of parking for no reason which stays mostly empty. Shame on BL. City patrols garage twice a day handing out $55 tickets even on weekends including Sunday Christmas Eve. You can pony up to give the city $660 a year to park on levels 1 to 3 which is not gated. Dozen plus vehicle thefts, vandalisms and break ins documented by the FTWPD and many more undocumented attempts. Property manager rationalizes by saying crime has no address. There is a garage gate past the third floor but it is often wide open or broken. Management allows non electric vehicles to park in EV charging spots so if you have a Tesla you are screwed. Secure building doors are often broken and malfunction. Amazon Hub room has a theft issue. My water sewer bill is 50 percent higher than previous apartment because BL nickels and dimes with 10 different charges and fees. And that bill is never on time either. The apartments are nice inside with features like a Nest thermostat, LED bathroom lights and 8 foot doors throughout. Yet corners were cut. There is no lighting or ceiling fan in the living room. Shocked at how extra thin the walls are as if there is zero insulation. You can easily hear your neighbors when you are two rooms over. Highly unacceptable construction. Hollow thin floors are a stomping nightmare. The office constantly deflects blame, has excuses why everything is broken, is nontransparent about the higher than average vehicle crime rate and has created a hostile environment towards tenants who speak out that expect a better living environment considering the high cost of living here. Unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen look elsewhere.Property Manager Responded
