Avoid This Property – Unprofessional Management and Poor Quality Apartment
January 14, 2026Apartment plagued by noise and poor quality from day one: • Paper-thin ceilings — hear every neighbor sound (talking, kids running, flushing, furniture). • Cheap cabinets already chipping and falling apart. • Nonstop loud traffic noise from cars/trucks right outside — sleep is nearly impossible. Management is rude, communicates terribly, and has constant turnover, so no one takes responsibility. Many 5-star reviews seem fake, written by the same management names to hide these issues. August 4, 2025The moment we walked into CERU, we were greeted with so much kindness. It smelled incredible inside, and right away you could tell how high-tech everything was. The staff was amazing. Dayshaun and Molly, were unbelievable as well as the other gal, but I can’t remember her name. They went above and beyond during our tour, and you can feel how much they care. I’ve talked to several people who live here, and everyone keeps saying how happy they are with the new management team. You can see why — ...they’re genuinely attentive and so easy to work with. The amenities are next-level, truly luxurious without feeling fake or overdone. Any time we’ve needed maintenance, they’ve been there quickly to fix it. May 9, 2024Ceru has been pretty good overall, we’re only about a week moving in but any issues we had first moving into the place was fixed by maintenance pretty timely. Place is spacious, with a nice balcony and of course the amenities are beautiful and very well kept.Property Manager Responded

May 5, 2024Love the resort like feel of the common areas like the pool, amenities and sunset views! In unit appliances are good but air conditioning is very loud. Windows/doors/blinds not made very well to keep out sound from very loud fans in the garage running 24/7. Wish I could get a good night’s sleep.Property Manager Responded

May 3, 2024We have just moved in so I'm sure that I will have more to say down the road, but so far this building has been great! We moved in and had some issues that Maintenace came and fixed almost immediately after putting the request in. The leasing office is wonderful at answering our questions in person. The apartment was clean when we got here and the amenities are definitely a huge plus. As of now the only con is the noise that comes from people speeding around the parking garage, but that is hard ...to police I believe. Also, I wish we knew that there was not an actual freight elevator that lets out outside where you can back a truck in when moving in. Going down the hall to the elevators prolonged the moving process slightly and I just wish we were informed of that more. But so far so good and the other residents seem to be very nice as well.Property Manager Responded

You can definitely find better!
February 6, 2024Touring CERU is a 5* experience, as you can tell by the reviews, but living here is less so... After a few days, you'll notice the cheap materials and finishes and how poorly everything was put together. From the rattling blinds to the barely insulated windows, those light switches that don't do a thing, the ever-broken elevator, or the unfinished trash chute–the list is endless. Add a building management specialized in kicking the can down the road while blaming everything on third-party ...vendors and partners, and that resort life illusion will only last for a while. Still, there will be people who will absolutely love it here. So, if you: - Love firetrucks? The Boca Raton FD is always around, responding to one of the countless false fire alarms! (we had over a dozen false alarms in the past ten months, three in January alone...) - Want to make friends? You will be best mates with the maintenance crew in no time, as no one else will spend as much time at your place! - Need a place to work? The coworking is a distraction-free space ideal for focused work, as you will likely not have WI-FI there! - Like to be close to nature? You can literally feel the wind and rain inside your new apartment! - Hate people watching TV by the pool? Fantastic, none of the eight pool TVs work! - Looking for an excuse to meditate more? Nearly all interactions with the building management, or even their emails, will provide those opportunities! - Hate to separate your trash? No worries, you won't find a single recycling bin in the whole building! - Need to work on those legs? Taking the stairs will save you hours you would otherwise spend waiting for the elevator! - Love to gamble? Buy an ice cream from the market! Will it be good? Has it melted before and is unsuspiciously spoiled? Hopefully, you find it before eating! - Want to become a detective? You'll get to look for clues hidden between the corporate jargon from building emails and hands-on training in questioning building management. Will you be able to figure out what is going on? I guess there are some positives to it, after all! For the building management – Save the corporate boilerplate apology and empty promise of doing better in the future. February 4, 2024I just moved in yesterday only to find out after a long day of moving that the water from every faucet in the master bathroom has a sewer smell making it quite off putting to use. To add insult to injury the shower was designed with the showerhead facing the narrowest part of the shower, which is where the door is, therefore, it starts leaking immediately whether or not anyone is taking a shower, flooding the entire exterior of the bath as well as the entire bathroom floor. Also, the kitchen has ...a series of other problems, namely the garbage disposal does not work, half of the outlets are not working, and the water dispenser is barely a trickle. lastly, between the cars racing up and down the garage, all of the street noise, and the pool you can hear practically everything. It’s interesting how a brand new, modern building could have so many design flaws.Property Manager Responded

January 18, 2024The general resident experience is fine, the issue I have is that if I ever have something that I have to ask management about, I'm often told, "we aren't currently sure but we'll get back to you" and they almost never follow up. I have to bother them at least 3 times in order to get any kind of answer to questions I have and it's quite frustrating. In fact I will be going back sometime this week to follow up on someone unannounced entering my unit while I wasn't there.
