Pleasant Experience

Great New Home
October 31, 2024I just moved in mid-Oct from out of state and Megan and Nia were amazing in helping me throughout the process and getting everything completed in a timely manner. I'll go through my experience from tour to move-in as these reviews helped me so much during my hunt. Tour The Grounds- I previously toured 3 places the day before and was mentally set on one place until I toured CB. Love love loved the grounds, the small amount of buildings, the surrounding trees give off the impression of being in ...a more secluded area, the amenities are well-maintained, and the gate was working properly, the garbage contractor was under construction with large temp garbage in place, however that has since been completed since I moved in. I looked at the Deluxe Davenport unit. The unit itself was clean, free from debris, in good condition, and very spacious. The pricing and deals definitely made it even better. I love the option of carpet or hard flooring, I went with carpet. The patio is a nice size, the sunroom is very spacious and perfect for a home office. There is ample lighting in the house as there isn't many windows. Nice spacious closets. My only gripe with space would be not much cabinet space in the kitchen, a simple little pantry shelf will solve that. W/D hookups in the unit, and there's a laundry facility if you don't have your own. Move-In- Application and approval were quick, fast, and easy, submit the documents for the 3rd party to check, and boom instant decision. I paid my fees, and set my date. The ladies in the office were very flexible as I had a few more post-op appts to go to and they moved my date without issue. The unit was cleaned and ready on move-in day, I received my keys and remote with no problem. ATT fiber was installed the same day, and I had all my utilities switched to my name beforehand. I have NOT encountered any BUGS or MOLD so yay. There was an issue with my water heater needing to be replaced as it was leaking in the downstairs unit, they fixed it in a day as well as my tub. The maintenance guys (I forgot their names) are courteous and respectful and complete the job quickly. So far, living is quiet. You may hear the occasional sirens, but the trees provide a nice buffer to the street noise. The neighbors are pretty quiet as well, you don't see many people outside. I haven't even seen any kids yet. But it's peaceful and a great place to call home.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT MOVE HERE
May 5, 2022The complex is extremely outdated. There is nothing updated in the unit. There’s huge roaches everywhere on the property. They have too many trees that are dying so there is a lot of debris. The pool is not clean at all. They state that there are chemicals in the pool but that doesn’t matter because the pool is full of leaves and other things.Property Manager Responded

Look elsewhere
February 1, 2021This has been the worst experience I've ever had with an apartment complex. Within the first week I noticed rat traps all around the dumpster, which seemed odd, I quickly found out why. Not even a month into living here the trash compactor broke and they put a portable dumpster in front of it. Rats would constantly be surrounding it. Not long after all of that I started having issues with centipedes and roaches. The apartments are old and have squeaky floorboards, so you will constantly hear your ...neighbors and to top things off, the drywall in my unit has started cracking in multiple places. I've also had some 'unfortunate' experiences with the office staff. First, they will not respond to emails, but when you call they'll tell you how they were "just getting ready to reach out". Second, when I paid rent through their portal their payment processor didn't release the funds to Calibre Brooke. Instead of the staff reaching out to THEIR payment processor, they told me I would have to call them myself and so generously offered to "waive the late fee" (I paid a week early). Not only do I not recommend moving here, I will be looking to get out of my lease early.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT MOVE HERE!
July 18, 2019Where you start, the staff is super nice, but super lazy they are also extremely fake. They come Into your apartment very often. They warn you luckily but they snoop around don’t clean up, so if you like people invading your privacy this is the place for your ou! If you want to Live with German roaches for a year then this is the place for you. Pest control is seriously non existent... If you get one with carpet expect to be stabbed with nails. Also good luck finding parking. The spots are tiny ...and so people will hit your car, and if someone else doesn’t, a tree will. They don’t take care of the outside the trees are getting rotten so branches are falling on cars. I luckily live in the building not around trees but parking spots are limited in front of the building. Also have fun trying to turn left out of the apartment, rush hour you’ll be stuck for a while!!! The pool is amazing but they have to shut it downs quite a bit. The positive thing is they don’t follow their own rules on breed restriction. They are a non-bully breed apartment complex but don’t worry there are sweet “bully” pups everywhere so as long as you don’t say you have have a bully breed they won’t notice. If you want to live with the roaches, have your privacy invaded, you car damaged then this is the place for you, If not DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I will not resign!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

May 13, 2019The apartment complex is older there are roaches, you will see at least 1 every 3-5 days no matter how many times your apartment is sprayed. I would highly recommend that the apartment complex makes it mandatory to spray each apartment. It is not fair to pay expensive rent and pest control only comes twice a month.Review from Apartments.com

Haven't gone more than 2 months without AC/heat breaking, they somehow charged me a late fee on my rent even though I have an automated scheduled payment set up with them, and now they've written a fake 5 star review. January 26, 2019I like this community because it’s small , safe and quiet. Everyone has been helpfull and nice. I’m in the large one bedroom with a sunroom. My apartment is huge and love the hdmi outlets above the fireplace. I read below and I haven’t experienced any issues at all.
