Don't do it!!
November 21, 2025Poor management, they have unlicensed leasing agents doing things that license real estate agents are supposed to do which is already a violation and their unprofessional I was shown an apartment that I didn't receive, signed the lease and gave first month's rent and deposit still didn't get the keys for two more days after that the guy lost my ID, hidden fees, couldn't even use my stove cuz the fire alarm was literally right above the stove and it went off every time I try to use it it's just ...it's not worth it don't do it. Don't live here!
May 14, 2025Don't live here! I just moved out and lived here for 3+ years. I dealt with crazy neighbors who hosted parties and had guests over all hours of the night from 10pm - 6am causing noise disturbances and this neighbor was arrested twice by police. I complained so many times to the office and called the courtesy patrol every time yet managements hasn't done anything about it nor filed an eviction case and has let those people live there for over a year. They are still living there in the 801 complex ...to date. On top of that, you'll have to deal with a cockroach infestation and yes, they will take your security deposit for cleaning. +1 star for the gym and pools. don’t recommend. all my cons and things that happened
October 28, 2022- poor management - horrible roach infestation -loud noises from the road -probation officers banging on doors -homeless in abandoned apartment next door -resident towing cars in spite - dirty, grimy area -laundry rooms too cramped - gym too cramped, not enough equipment -ac units are not up to par -have to get own fridge -no dishwasher -gun shots What new tho living in Santa Ana?Review from Apartments.com

February 14, 2021Moved in January 2021. Don't know anything about the previous years but I've had a great experience! Maybe new owners since the previous reviews?Management has been nothing short of amazing. The property is clean, well kept and quiet. My unit itself is perfect. Haven't seen so much as an ant inside. DO NOT RENT AT THIS TERRIBLE PLACE!
October 19, 2018This place does not deserve a star. If I could give negative stars I would. Looks like the past reviews pretty much summed it up. Bad bad bad management, terrible gates, terrible parking, laundry machines tearing apart clothing items, no windows in the gym, apt unit with no ventilation in bathroom, mold reoccurring over and over again, people smoking in pool areas, people not cleaning up after there pets, solicitation by trespassers, and oh dont forget about the pets you'll have in a few weeks ...after living here yeah I'm talking cockroaches lots of cockroaches!!!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
California Palms overpriced
September 27, 2015Rent started at $1,100 increased to $1,220. The cabinetry and floors are nice, but it doesn't make up for the roach infestation. In addition, it's in a bad area, being right off of Harbor, with all its traffic and noise. This place is way overpriced.Review from Apartments.com
California Palms Apartments Review (Studio)
August 14, 2015This apartment complex is nice, not exceptional but good nonetheless. The public areas are decently clean but on some detailed inspection, you can still find problems. For example, once I did some late night laundry and the place was filled with bugs hiding under the machines, on the floor and on the walls. They don't seem to come out in the day or late in the evening though. I also have some concerns where in 2 instances this year when beggars have gotten into the complex and asked for "college ...funds" door to door. The surrounding neighborhood is great around here. Walmart and other supermarkets are just next door, while Cosco, Home Depot, IKEA and even Game Stop is just within a 5 minutes drive. Management is friendly and will always help you to get your repairs done, mail held for you, and will recognize and greet you whenever you see them on the grounds.
