Moved out from Dallas and could not have asked for a better landing spot

I just moved to California from Dallas and I am still taking in how beautiful it is out here. The hills, the weather, the drive up the 101, all of it feels like a completely different world compared to Texas. Moving across the country is stressful though, and I was nervous about signing a lease for a place I had never physically walked through. Calixa made that part a lot easier than I expected.

building, answering questions and walking me through what to expect. It made the whole process so much less overwhelming from a thousand miles away. Every time I sent her a message she got back to me quickly, whether it was something about the lease, the move-in timeline, or just a random question I had.
On move-in day she gave me a tour of the community and showed me around the property, which was really helpful since I was brand new to the area and had no idea where anything was. She also made sure the apartment was cleaned and did an inspection before I got the keys, so I did not walk into any surprises. Everything was ready to go, and I could just start unpacking instead of chasing down fixes.
The property itself is beautiful. It is well kept, quiet, and the location in Camarillo is great for getting around. After a long drive from Texas, it felt good to walk into a place that already felt like home.
