Bad Management, and Maintenance

The maintenance crew never fixed anything we put in a request for. We had mold and an ant infestation, and their response was to hand us a bottle of mold spray and a few ant traps and leave. The mold persisted through several rounds of spraying down furniture, walls, and floors. My 8 months pregnant wife and I had to live through it for 2 months before our lease ended. The ants never went away as the traps were inefficient. On top of this, our tap water had very high amounts of iron in it to the ...
point were it discolored most of our towels and rags along with some clothing. They tried to fix it, but ultimately did not, so we bought a specialized water filter so we weren’t drinking high amounts of iron. We shared 3 washers and dryers that cost about $4.75/load with everyone else in the building (something like 24 units). The property manager was very difficult to communicate with.

Great apartment, awful amenities

When they remodeled the old UW Bothell dorms the first thing they made sure to gut was the washer and dryer set ups in the apartments and replace them with THREE coin operated washing machines and THREE coin operated dryers in a room on the first floor. There are 24 apartments in the complex and if you assume there are 2 people per apartment that's roughly 50 people sharing three washer and dryers Why If you don't mind racing other people to do your laundry, then this apartment is amazing. ...
