No pool
May 29, 2025Potential renters be advised. No pools here. Management close the pool with no reason. You don’t want to rent here in summer. Many amenities here such as the sauna room, the club room are only for display and not for you to use. Find the honest ones.Property Manager Responded

Roaches
March 17, 2025I have an infestation of roaches (not palmetto bugs) in my kitchen cabinet and drawers. I called the leasing office today (Monday) and was told I have to wait until Thursday, which is the "normal" pest control day. I've been spraying and cleaning everything continuously, but I can't get rid of the bugs. This is typical of this management company. It's always wait, wait, wait.Property Manager Responded

Low rent prices you get what you pay for, low life experience
October 3, 2023Bug problems, outside of the buildings get little to no maintenance, loud residents, Police called there more often than UPS. Lol. They have lots of events for residents but turn their backs to the ongoing issues that really matter.Property Manager Responded

A great place to stay
June 10, 2022I live at cape landing now and have had nothing but posetive experiences. Ashlee helped me through the leasing process and made the move in process so easy. The amenities are wonderful and they even have a company that takes your trash to the dumpsters so you just have to put it outside your door! Wonderful Experience
March 24, 2022I went to visit my daughter who lives in Cape Landing last year for a week and it was very nice! The property is very well taken care of and I met lots of great people on our walks. friendly neighborhood and staff
March 23, 2022I have lived at Cape Landing for three years now. My apartment is not brand new, but it has everything that I need for a price that doesn't break the bank like some of the other properties around here. Just like any apartment living situation, problems arise from time to time but the staff here really does try to take care of any issues that you might have. I always see the maintenance crew out and about and I know that I can stop Joe for just about anything and he will be willing to help. I have ...made so many friends in this complex and I am glad that I chose this place when I moved from up north 3 years ago. I you are looking for something brand new, then this may not be the place for you. but if you are looking for an affordable place to call home, I would definitely recommend Cape Landing.Property Manager Responded

Gone downhill
September 9, 2019In just one year living at these apartments under 2 managements it went downhill. Asked to have roof fixed from leak for whole year and never was. Main building often messy and unvacuumed, pool area and entrances unswept;management smiled and acted like on top of things but weren’t. Then reduced times fumigator came to property but didn’t lower that fee. Ended up charging us though we left our apartment spotless probably because they knew we were moving so far away we wouldn’t fight it and we ...had often complained about roof. DO NOT LIVE HERE
October 2, 2018If I could give a ZERO star, I would. We have lived here for going on 3 years. In those three years not once have they ever truly cared about their tenants. They will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING they can to get out of fixing their units. The threshold on our door is so off that bug, spiders, and cockroaches can and do crawl right in. The AC system is so old, dirty, and inefficient that our power bill averages over $260 year round and runs 24/7. They come up with every reason in the books as to ...why it is not their fault or concern to why the AC system does not work and even called us liars saying we are changing the temperature and doing everything to make it look like they are at fault despite pictures to prove what is actually happening. There is also mold growing in the vents and on the indoor coil. You cannot even leave a sheet of paper on the counter overnight without it curling. A florescent bulb is broken to the point it doesn't even hold the bulb in place in our guest room and they come in and said that it works just fine and left a smart comment note. Which considering the bulb was not even in the guest room since it is our sons room and we don't want our son playing with a broken glass bulb, just proves that they never actually even looked in the room. We had a portion of our baseboard come off due to dry rot and instead of replacing it, they used a huge screw to just screw the broken portion in instead of replacing it. It is still falling apart. The carpet is coming apart at every seem and again they do nothing to fix it. The room divider to where it switches from the carpet to fake wood is so broken that if you step on it wrong it will physically cut your foot. And this is not an issue that is only with us. We have a neighbor who has water pouring into their kitchen from storm damage and 2 weeks later they still have not fixed it. Another issue is the public spaces. The grills are all so broken that they barely work. The mailboxes are broken to the point that one set is physically about to all backward into the mail building and all mail comes out soaking wet if it rains. There was a ladder broken in the pool for over a month. They tied a chair to it to prevent people from using it. But of course children still tried and got injured. The bathrooms by the pool have NEVER had toilet paper or paper towels and always are covered with bugs on the floor.
