Absolutely terrible management

Worst MDI management!
August 28, 2023The apartment complex is good, but MDI management is the worst management. The don't reply, the don't want to return your security deposit, they just want your money. They charge you for carpet cleaning even if you clean that by yourself. Do NOT rent there!Property Manager Responded

Not worth the money
March 15, 2020Rent continues to increase here while services decrease. There is nothing special about this complex and you can live cheaper elsewhere with the same issues. Management is a revolving door, and there is no longer any enforcement of rules and regulations on the property. In the past year I have met at least 5 management employees in the front office and there is no consistency. I've bulleted the negatives below: - Residents increasingly leave dog waste on the property in violation of the ...community rules - Residents use visitor and handicap parking spaces as their own permanent spaces in violation of the community rules - Residents increasingly play vehicular music excessively loud through the lot in violation of the community rules - Residents speed through the lot in violation of the community rules - Residents are free to leave notes with foul language on their neighbors' door without consequences - The gates are perpetually broken/being repaired - The sauna is now for use by reservation only due to resident destruction (instead of only punishing the offending residents, management is now punishing everyone) - Residents are free to park their vehicles in states of disrepair with expired tags in violation of the community rules - Residents are free to have smokers and other 'banned' grills in violation of the community rules We have lived here for two years and have watched the decline of the property from a first class complex to just another Salem complex. The amenities and care of the property which enticed us to move here are now a memory of the past. Management willingly turns a blind eye to flagrant violations that jeopardize the health, safety and well-being of the residents here. There are surveillance cameras everywhere but even with video evidence, management claims they cannot enforce the lease rules based on video evidence alone, and so they don't. Even when management personally witnesses violations of the community regulations, they say it is still not enough to take action to correct the behaviors. Cappella may come across as having a safe, quiet community but please know that the rules and regulations they tout of this property are no longer enforced. The three stars are for the actual units being new, and for the maintenance staff who are quick to repair and address issues. In the end, if you want to live in just another dumpy Salem complex, you can go elsewhere for a lot cheaper and the same issues.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
