  • Roaches!!!!!

    My move in date was scheduled for August 26, 2019. I received my keys, did a walk through and noticed a few things in the house like the cabinets being worn out with an odor, some of which still had food and supplies from the previous tenant. I decided to clean the home thoroughly before moving my things into the place. I brought 2 buckets full of cleaning supplies to clean. When I realized there were roaches in the house, I bombed multiple times. When I came back to the home my cleaning supplies ...
    had been taken by the cleaning crew. The roaches had increased. I informed the leasing office in which they sent an exterminator to perform a drill and dust. I was told with the drill in dust and multiple bombs I had set off, there shouldn’t be any issues with roaches anymore. I moved my things in Friday, August 30, 2019, a week later. Since moving in (1 month ago), I have seen multiple roaches all over the house along with a pungent, dirty smelling odor. I have bombed again and still roaches. I have spent my own money on supplies to eradicate the issue. I have spent money on movers to move me in at a later date than expected. I have taken unpaid time off from work to resolve this issue. Yet roaches are still visible. I have not cooked or unpacked my home entirely because of these issues. I decided after a month, I will move out and return the keys. I have called Corporate multiple times, NO ANSWER. I have sent multiple emails to the Regional Property Manager and VP, NO RESPONSE. Caral Gardens is refusing to let me terminate my lease with no penalties and return my security deposit, despite them not upholding their end of the terms ensuring these issues would be fixed.

  • Do not recommend this place to anyone

    I moved in to this complex in 6/1/2018. Since I’ve moved in there’s been MULTIPLE issues. When I moved in there was a bulge in the ceiling of my bedroom, the refrigerator was not cleaned from the previous tenant, my front door was unleved which is easy access for bugs and rodents to enter and none of the screens in the windows fit(I couldn’t open the window without bugs entering). Of course when you contact the dental office they feed you a bunch of nonsense and their favorite line is we will ...
    send maintenance a service request. Maintenance is horrible, they DO NOT communicate with the tenants or do their job. Now my freezer door will not stay shut and I lost out on money because all my food went bad. I guess you get what you pay for. This complex is cheap but they do not care about their tenAnts or keeping their complex up to par!

    I have been living here for 3 months. When you have a problem in your house, you keep calling and they never show up and the day they finally show up, they can't even fix the problem and tell you they are going to order stuff and they don't come back for another 2 months.However the lady who work in the office is nice. The neighborhood and the townhouses are not that bad.
