March 10, 2017I have lived in my two bedroom Carlisle Park apartment since October, 2010. Not only is it affordable (I'm retired and live on fixed income) but meets my need for a home without steps. This became a blessing when I had knee replacement surgery a few years ago and depended on entering and exiting with ease. If we have a snowstorm, maintenance is "on the ball" clearing the parking lots and sidewalks and even some porches. The location of my apartment is right across from my mailbox, the laundry ...room and the management office. I have been able to beautify the grounds around my apartment each summer with flowers and outdoor furniture to afford relaxation in my free time. Carlisle Park Apartments is located close to the center of Carlisle and makes it easy to shop, take in a movie, attend church and do my banking. Excellent location where kids can walk to school!
March 9, 2017I lived at the Carlisle Park Apartments, formally College Park Apartments during two intervals over the last 15 or so years. Once time for about a year and the second time for many years (5-6 years I think). Recently the ownership did change hands and the owners immediately went to work to make improvements to the location. The staff was very friendly and understanding in my opinion. They took time with me and listened, truly listened to any issues I was trying to address. Property Manager ...Bernadette and her staff were always very friendly and professional in our dealings. The maintenance gentlemen were great as well. One of my favorite things about Carlisle Park was the location. Close enough that I could walk my daughter to kindergarten when I first lived there and close enough that my daughters could later walk themselves to school during their Middle & High School years. The location is definitely multicultural with a variety of ethnic groups living there but I never sensed any sort of cultural clashes. I met some incredible people including my next door neighbors who I miss greatly since moving. The question is always - would I return to live there if things headed in that direction? Absolutely.
