Don't live here
May 13, 2021This place is awful and not worth a penny. They have roaches and refuse to handle them and still expect to get paid every month. The laundry facility is disgusting and the apartments are falling apart. Save yourself time and money and don't live here.Property Manager Responded

Photos Are Misleading
February 25, 2018We currently live in this complex and our current unit looks no where near as nice as the photos provided in the advertisement. Walls are white and beige, no hardwood floors, or granite countertops. Decent price for mediocre living space but don't get your hopes up when you look at these photos. Maintenance requests can take over a week to be completed so keep that in mind also. We don't love it here but we also don't hate it.Review from Apartments.com
Better than expected
March 29, 2016Like most people I did my research before renting an apartment. I read all the reviews, but chose to go and take a look around Carlyle anyways. The ladies in the office were very friendly and seemed to know what they were talking about. They showed me a couple apartments in my price range and they showed me a model. The model is very nice but I knew my actual apartment would look a little different. Deciding to rent at Carlyle was a good decision despite the bad reviews and I will be signing ...another lease here. My best advice is don't always believe the bad reviews you read on the internet. Carlyle Place- Affordable and Safe
August 4, 2015Carlyle is super affordable when taking into consideration the location! These apartments include water, a park, and a pool. If you are housed on the second or third floor, you get a beautiful balcony. I am on the third floor and get a great view every morning! The location is ideal for any on the go, busy person. From restaurants, to grocery stores, gas stations, and even in between two of the most popular malls in Macomb, Michigan, these apartments are great. You will not be able to find nice ...apartments that are not super expensive in this area. Our rent for a two-bedroom, 800 sq.ft apartment is only $765. It also includes a dishwasher which is really convenient! Cant compalin
August 14, 2015Its a little over priced for being so small but issues have been addressed quickly. Check your apartment fully when moving in here, my apartment was "newly renovated" there were a couple scuffs on the kitchen floor, i had no shower head the first couple hours. balcony is a little small, but enough. There were a couple of outlets that did not work 1 in the kitchen, and one in the dining area. They keep it very clean, not a lot of noise, and its right by everything. Never Live Here
November 26, 2014I've lived here since July 2014. In the few months I've been here, it is by far the worst place I've ever lived. First, when I first moved in and it was hot outside my wall unit A/C wasn't working. I called the office and it was a week before it was looked at. I say looked at because it wasn't fixed. After 2 more weeks I got the management company involved. Still no resolution. Finally I had to take it on to myself to fix it. On top of the lack of care about their tenants, the office staff ...constantly harasses us. Expect to have a new "notice" of living restriction every week, especially if you own a dog.
