Hemlock apartment
August 18, 2015It's a cute little apartment . It's quiet we're happy . But a year before living here mom and dad split up due to dad cheating after 37 years married which forced me and mom to move out because of betrayal and foreclosure. I lived in that house for 18 years and she lived there about 30. Now it's me and mom struggling paycheck to paycheck. Mom works very hard as a secretary from 8 in morning to 6 at night. She's depressed and on top of that her parents (my grandparents) are very I'll and are 85 ...years old barely making it . Mom is basically living with them because she has to inject insulin into grandpa's stomach everyday, once at noon and one at 5pm. Also she makes sure they take the right prescription medication. My grandma forgets everything (even to feed my grandpa) and my grandpa is basically giving up due to his old age. It's very difficult because I try and help out as best as possible but I'm a full time student at reedley college daily, and I'm working at kfc nightly. It would be a blessing to skip one bill monthly. And rent is a big one for us ($750). We love our apartment here at hemlock but if she had to move in with grandparents and leave me paying rent I'd probably end up having to move out well.
