Nasty Hallways
July 12, 2025I frequent this complex to drop off my granddaughter, in the last row of buildings. The hallways are NOT cleaned weekly. The same coffee spills & salt stains are all up and down the steps & landings that have been there nearly 2 years now? FILTHY.Property Manager Responded

Janae Kimble was awesome
March 24, 2025Came in to see what it would look like to renew lease or get out of my one year. Janae was about the best customer service person you could have, just plain no nonsense communication while also being genuine she is a huge asset to carriage hill. I do wish after a year lease you could go month to month but not worried about that it’s just apartment living the same anywhere you look.Review from Apartments.com
Would not recommend
June 19, 2024Rent is not price quoted online, they charge for everything including building utilities such as electric and gas, pest control, water, trash, sewage. I’ve never rented an apartment where tenants pay for electric in hallways. It is ridiculous. Gas used to be billed only during winter months but now they bill all year around. When I first moved in someone cleaned hallways daily now it’s every 2 weeks. They didn’t bother to fix pool this year so it will be closed for the summer season. In the ...winter, heating doesn’t work so we have to use electric heaters which run up electric. I emailed them but never heard back or got reimbursed. The quality of living has gone downhill. Don't waste your money!
March 9, 2024This is by far the worst place I've ever lived and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you want problems then this is the place for you. It has been one problem after another from the ceiling leaking several times to the main building drain backing up and overflowing into my apartment many times. Most recently in January no heat and no hot water for 15 days. For our trouble they let us borrow a space heater which didn't help much because of the open rooms. They want to give us $50 towards the ...next month's rent. It was ice cold showers and can't wash dishes. Most maintenance repairs are never fixed right the first time. We have had two gas leaks. This place is such a joke. Make sure you look at the apartment that you're going to rent because they'll show you a nicer one and want you to sign the lease. There's a lot of extras added on to the rent. Paying for stuff you may never use. You pay for water that you don't use. With a boiler heat system plan on being extremely hot in the spring because you can't run your air conditioner until the boiler is shut off for the season.Property Manager Responded

Worst place i have ever lived!!!!
December 14, 2022Rats and roaches you can hear the rats running through the walls at night. You cannot adjust heat or a/c they do not care in if 82 degrees inside. DO NOT LIVE HERE
October 28, 2022I had problems with the furnace for a month now that has flooded my apartment multiple times. Just the other week they pulled out over 80 Gallons of water. There is now mold in out vents and even with proof they decline to fix the problem. Their attitude and how they speak to people is awful. I spoke with the regional manager hoping he’s better then the office people and he’s worse. How could people like this have a job. I sent them proof and they basically call us stupid. And is still refusing ...to replace the furnace. They say its fixed but it looks like someone punched it and also they “fixed it” 5 times. Thats not a mistake that is negligence. Do not live here if you want a safe environment. I have cancer and they dont care to take care of it. Only try to cover it up.Property Manager Responded

August 31, 2022I do not mind them asking mme to review them and share my experience because it has only been good so far. I moved in a little over a month ago and i really like it so far.
