Nice for the price

For the price these are the nicest apartments I have seen so far in Anchorage. Although, it is in midtown, for the area you get what you expect. Lots of foot traffic. But, it didn’t seem to have an impact on the community. The building is clean. Overall, I will feel safe living here.

I strongly recommend this place, if you like the following. The building turns into a shelter for tresspassers, particularly in winter. One day, I had to call security three times, and when no action was taken, I gave up. The lock to the entrance to the building is often broken. So, it's not a secure place. Once, there was a guy sleeping in the laundry room! Another tresspasser was enjoying music from a device playing full blast! The security people (the new and the old)always say they are ...
sending someone, but by the time they come the tresspasser(s)has/have left. A young woman was there everyday as if it was her "residence." Sure, you can move in, if you like the fire alarm going off at least once every month. There are three buildings, and the alarm goes off at one or the other every week.They should have their own firefighters!! I also recommend this place, if you like second-hand smoke in the hallway. When I told a man, who was smoking in the stairwell, that smoking is not allowed in the building, he defiantly said "So what?" and continued puffing. On two occasions, smoke that smelled like weed permeated my apartment. You will also know what your neighbors are cooking from the odor --garlic, fish, etc.-- inside your apartment, thanks to the exhaust! When you want anything fixed, you only need to remind them three times! Also, when you leave, from your deposit, they deduct the amount they have to get the place ready (not just for fixing any damages, but also for general cleaning)for the next tenant.

Nevet a dull moment

We moved in a couple years ago and signed a year lease. We soon found out that it was a bad neighborhood. Our neighbors would yell at each other all hours of the night. Neighbors acroas the fence on the next street over would work on their truck untill 3 or 4 AM. So when our lease was up we asked for a quiter apartment. We should of just moved out. They moved us into the apartment building across the street from the first one. I lost count of how many times I've had to call the police due to ...
neighbors slamming stuff around and screaming bloody murder. The fire alarm gets pulled weekly and drug addicts frequent our building. Last time there was a guy shooting up in our laundry room and i told him to get out i was quickly met by the maintenance man and told not to do that. I wish I didn't have to but the staff doesn't do much to get rid of squatters. Halls smell like old food and musk. Neighbors partys start at quite time at 10pm and the loud music continues till 5 or 6am some days. I dont know who lied tp give it 5 stars but its probably the staff. My downstairs neighbors are slamming doors while I'm writing this review. We've also had pepper spray go off in the elevator room on our floor. There's been People sleeping on futons in the hallway. NO WEAPONS in the lease because they don't want you to be able to protect yourself from crack heads. Our lease is up in may and we are never coming back. Id give it 0 stars if i could

  I am very sorry to hear of the issues you've experienced. I can tell you that we have recently switched security companies and are seeing a marked improvement in service and results in the community. We also have safety meetings with residents, security and representatives from the local police department that you are welcome to attend and participate in. This provides the opportunity for residents to inform us of their concerns so that we can come to the best solution possible quickly. If you ever see any suspicious activity on property please call security at 907-529-8079 and they will be here ASAP and rectify the issue. If there are concerns with noise in your apartment please notify the office directly so that we can contact those residents, issue lease violations and escalate as necessary to ensure that you are as comfortable in your home as possible. We are available 6 days a week Monday-Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm- please call us so we can assist at 907-258-5000.

Staff here is fantastic. I've been here through two community directors, Melissa, the current community director has gone above and beyond to turn this property around from its former issues. I've watched this property grow leaps and bonds. Melissa truly runs a phenomenal team of great people, from her office staff to her clean up crew. Before Melissa came and took over the property I had no intentions of renewing my lease, but now I don't see leaving the property to rent anywhere else. When I ...
leave it will be because we have purchased a home. There are still issues that occur, but Melissa and her team of superstars quickly address and fix these issues as soon as they are brought. The new maintenance supervisor Chuck is absolutely fantastic and is on top of things and goes above and beyond to make sure things are taken care of and always makes sure to address additional issues while he is there if anything else needs to be fixed! I love my apartment! It is absolutely beautiful! I love this community and the staff who work here! Thanks guys for really showing you care about the residents who live here!

We Love our home very much, and it's close to both of our work places. It's small but has been ours for almost two years and honestly have made it home. With medical issues bills get hard but we can't bring leave because of all our memories. Winning something like this would be life changing.
