A Relic Of the Past

After selling our home we moved into Catawba Place apartments as a cheap place to live. Being constructed in 1997 the space was dated, and the appliances and HVAC unit were all nearing end of life. If you are considering living here it is essential that you take these factors into consideration. The poor insulation combined with the quality of the windows results in an astronomical energy bill. This will more than make up for the cost of living in a more modern complex with better amenities. ...

Then enters Lexington Partners LLC a property management firm based in Hartford, CT. Upon acquiring the property their first order of business was the begin raising rent. They did this before addressing any of the fundamental issues with the apartments. This alone speak volumes about the company and their focus on profit above the welfare of their tenants. I strongly recommend avoiding Catawba Place as well as other Lexington Partners LLC properties.
