Under new management but building was not built properly
December 31, 20241. Water pipe burst constantly. The first four times, no compensation or any action. The fifth and most recent, it was so bad that a lot of us didn’t have water for four days now. 2. Elevators. There’s three. In the past year, I’ve rarely seen all three work. There was a time none worked. 3. Air conditioning. Summer months. Only one month it was working. The fix took so long. I was lucky because prior tenants didn’t have it all summer and last summer was worst since it was the hottest summer in ...San Jose. Btw, this was only one year leasing at Centerra Now don’t get me wrong. I really enjoyed the people who work there. They’re doing their best. Building just sucks.Property Manager Responded

December 16, 2024My check in was easy and straightforward, the floor plans didn't match, so had to change apartments. Mailbox key didn't work and my parking spot was taken on the first day, but all was quickly resolved with all the outstanding staff (maintenance, security, concierge and agent)Review from Apartments.com

November 8, 2024"I've been in this apartment for more than a year, and I'm very glad I made this choice. The apartment has a large, well-planned layout with lots of natural light and contemporary decor. The shared workspace and rooftop terrace are two excellent and consistently maintained building features. With quick access to parks, grocery stores, and public transportation, the location is excellent. Professional and vigilant, the management staff sees to it that any maintenance problems are promptly fixed. ...All things considered, I would heartily suggest this apartment to anyone searching for a chic and practical place to call home.Property Manager Responded

November 16, 2024Welp, I moved in around June and the elevators haven't been working up until the last few weeks. One side of my hall smells like urine because there's a dog on that side that pees on the carpet. The trash room smells like I'm inside the trash bin. The garage gate was off and on the first few months. There was a leak on 9 floors and now my bathroom looks like it's been under construction the past two months; along with the hallway to get to the apartment as well. I've had to explain to all my ...guests that everything will be fixed soon...and then they show up again a few weeks later and it's still a construction zone.Property Manager Responded

avoid this building at all cost
September 15, 2024We moved into a 2 bedroom apt in Nov 2023. Since then we have had a total of 18days without water, 28 days without hot water, 74 days with only one elevator working (which leads to about 30min wait time every time you have to use the elevator), and 3 days without any elevators working at all. August 26, 2024Great amenities, and the location. Centerra is a kind of luxury apartment located at the center of the downtown. Depending on your living floor, you might hear sounds from San Pedro Square (whole weekends and Fridays). Also, it is difficult to find parking spots.Property Manager Responded
