I love it here

Stay away
February 9, 2023This place is a complete money pit, and it shows with how management treats their tenants. On top of our rent, they're charging us $30/month for use of the carpet, which is extremely strange, and several monthly charges were added to the rent that wasn't disclosed at the time of application. We also got charged an extra $11 for their company's rental insurance even though we had proof of rental insurance through our insurance company at the time of move in. There were also several things wrong ...with the apartment including the lack of cleaning (mold in the fridge as well as behind the toilets). The thermostat didn't go above 62 deg (in January). Luckily that got fixed but we have yet to have the dryer vent unclogged despite putting several work orders in. The structure itself is also not well insulated. The windows allow a lot of outside air in and nobody can be in their rooms with their door closed without it getting very chilly in that room. I am on a lower level, and the metal joists actually creak when my upstairs neighbor walks on his floor (he's not a big guy nor is he very heavy-footed). I've also talked to many of my neighbors who share similar stories to mine. All in all, this is not a good place to live at all. We can at least modify the apartment be to be somewhat comfortable, but the management are scum. They've given us hell from day one (as soon as they had our money) for no good reason. It's sad when you must prepare for legal action against your landlord in the first month of living here. And the rent prices are most definitely not worth what you get! Summing up... Stay away! They refuse to do the bare minimum
July 27, 2020I know that everyone says management is rude but they are rude on another level. They will tell you to your face that they can fulfill your request but don't want to because it's too much work. In a nutshell: the ventilation system is extremely dirty, moldy, and rusted, the carpet is extremely dirty, and they have nests of bugs in the walls.Review from Apartments.com
Keep Looking. Don’t Waste Your Money.
February 7, 2020My experience here was TERRIBLE. During my tour I told them I didn’t want to live in a unit that had previously been rented by a smoker. I was told that wouldn’t be a problem. When I got there it smelled a little like smoke but I was told it was the smell of the new carpet glue. This became an apparent lie when the smell only grew stronger, I couldn’t be in the apartment for more than 45 minutes before getting a headache. Due to circumstances beyond my control, my roommate had to leave before ...the end of the lease. I was told I would be able to downsize if the rent/bills became too much for me. When I approached them about moving they told me I couldn’t move to a unit that had cheaper rent than what I was currently paying. Thanks for nothing. I ended up paying the outrageous $2000 lease-breaking fee and then had to pay for 2 more months of rent/bills. I had a few problems with maintenance and management. Maintenance came into my townhome without previous notice and locked me out. I called the 24/7 emergency hotline (August 2019) and to this day (February 2020) they have yet to get back to me. When I called management and told them the issue the person I spoke to was very nonchalant about the fact that I was locked out at 12:45 AM and never had maintenance solve the issue. I also put in two maintenance requests (broken window, broken window screens, outlets that didn’t work) that were marked completed but they were never fixed.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Already a great experience!
April 29, 2019Haven’t moved in yet due to being out of state and still in the military but the experience so far has been incomparable to what we have been dealing with. The employees are very professional and polite and are understanding. We have been trying to find a home for a few months and have dealt with very unprofessional and straight up rude people but I can tell that Centerville Park is the complete opposite! From seeing the reviews and pictures and having family members drive around I can tell that ...I will be happy calling this community my home!
