    I am a long time renter of apartments, having rented most of my life. The staff both in the office and the maintenance team are AMAZING. They treat you like family versus a job. I love that they know each persons name, proving that we are not just a $$ signs, but a community!

  • Quiet Community

    I have called CSW home for over a year now. It is central to anywhere in Charleston. That alone is great, but the community really fosters a feeling of community. The resident events are fun and the pool is a great place to meet your neighbors. I look forward to staying here for another lease term.

    I have lived in my one bedroom for over a year and it is the largest one bedroom I have ever lived in. The windows and open floorplan allow for so much light! The area is so cute and has a lot of activity and it is easy to feel comfortable.

    I have loved living here so far! The maintenance staff is very helpful and friendly. I feel safe living here and the location is perfect. Not too far from downtown or the beach! The gym is not the most up-to-date but the pool in the summer is great. There are so many events to go to with food trucks and a chance to meet other residents. I would definitely recommend living here.

    Cost to much, everyone else living around you are loud. The area grounds cleaning people love to start early and wake you up with there tools. Other people and contractors love to use your eletric to charge there tools. The parking is horrible and the pool only works half the time.

    I love living at Central square at Watermark. After moving to Charleston for graduate school and comparing apartments in West Ashley, Charleston and Mount Pleasant, I found this choice to be the best bang for my buck. The apartments are beautiful and the amenities are fantastic. The management staff are friendly and professional and the maintenance team is prompt and performs excellent work.     Living at Central Square is not worth it! Though advertised and charged as 'luxury' apartments, promised upgrades to bring the place up to par with actual luxury apartments in the area seem to have been retracted. But that's not the worst of it. Management and maintenance do not check their own work. Much of it needs to be repeated, sometimes with great inconvenience to residents; some of it becomes an incredible safety hazard. And the worst aspect of work errors is that no one ever takes ...
    responsibility. That is a major problem. And what's most disheartening is that all of the issues around here could be avoided if someone, and I mean anyone at this point, would just take responsibility. As a resident, you will feel completely alone and helpless when you really need the services you pay for. Please take the warning seriously that your hard earned money won't cover what is promised appropriately.
