October 27, 2025I moved to Centro Apartments in August 2025 mainly because of its proximity to Nova, but since day one, my experience has been extremely disappointing. On my official move-in day, I arrived with a moving company ready to unload everything, only to find my apartment completely infested with cockroaches. There were roaches everywhere, in the kitchen, bathroom, walls, and even inside the dishwasher. Because of this, I had to cancel my movers, losing a non-refundable cancellation fee that I was ...never reimbursed for. For a few days, the apartment was not livable, and I couldn’t move in as planned. On top of the pest infestation, there were multiple issues that should have been addressed before move-in, including lifting LVT tiles, damaged flooring, yellowed baseboards, and a leaking AC unit. Management acknowledged the problems and said they would “try” to reimburse me for the days I couldn’t move in, but despite multiple follow-ups, I never received any refund. Although pest control was sent a few times, the problem was never fully resolved. I eventually had to buy my own pest control products and treat the unit myself, out of my own pocket. The infestation is not as severe now, but I still find roaches occasionally. Then, on October 25th at around 4:00 a.m., I experienced a major water leak under my kitchen sink that quickly spread to the adjacent bedroom, closet, living room, and master bedroom. The flooding damaged several of my recently purchased furniture pieces. I immediately called the emergency maintenance line multiple times, but no one ever answered. I had to remove the water myself using basic tools without any help or proper equipment. Since the incident, I’ve been experiencing allergy symptoms due to the damp air and developing mold inside the walls. I have a strong allergy to mold and dust, and the situation has become a serious health concern. Overall, my experience has been stressful, costly, and frustrating.Property Manager Responded

September 10, 2025The leasing staff is very accommodating and patient, leasing terms are complicated do to the quality of the property and the terms are conveyed as competently as possible. there are also a ton of other benefits that they don't even mention. July 11, 2025My experience with the rental process was very positive. It was quick and accessible, which made everything much easier for me as a new student at Nova. The staff was very kind and always willing to answer my questions about the apartment and the surrounding area, which made me feel welcome. July 9, 2025I've lived here since 2021 and have reccomended the complex to everyone. I loved the overall community, safety, and responsiveness to any issues I had. I made the decision to move into a larger unit earlier this year and signed my new lease in January. In March when my new lease started a new management company took over and I wish I had moved. It took almost 1.5 months after moving in and basically begging on my hands and knees through every avenue possible for them to actually address the ...cockroach infestation in my new unit - requests via the website, email, calling them to address the issue, printing out my signed request and bringing it into the actual office per the lease, and online reviews. Only after reviewing the management company on google did they have any sense of urgency about the cockroaches. I put in a request last week because my washer is full of water and will not drain. It has been 5 working days for them now and no one has even stopped by the unit to check out the issue. You think they would be more concerned about the possibility of the washer they own developing mold after 7 days of being full of standing water. I called last night to follow up and have not received a return call - which is like a base level of respect I would expect from a business. Also the dog waste bins are increasingly full for days before being changed. I am obviously not in the property management biz, but I cannot imagine it is that difficult for them to check the trash bags daily.Property Manager Responded
