My only complaint is that it can be a bit loud on Thursday mornings when trash gets picked up, but the location is unbeatable and the amenities are solid. The best location!!
September 28, 2023I love it here! Best apartment I’ve lived in! Super peaceful besides my upstairs neighbors:) they sound like their running a marathon with how loud there steps are when home, but everything else is amazing! The pool, fitness gym, lounge, garage, and courtyard is great!" The Baxter is situated in such a. Great location. It’s a close commute to Indiana, but also so close to great restaurants and shopping stores on Bardstown Rd. There is beautiful neighborhoods around with historical homes, where I ...often take walks to enjoy nature! You’re also so close to the beautiful Cherokee Park. Love This Place

Great place to stay!
December 30, 2022I lived at the Baxter Apartments for almost 2 years when I stayed in Louisville. I was a very stressed nursing student, but my apartment is something I never had to stress about. Any maintenance that I had was answered within 24 hours and resolved. Maeve and everyone in the office were so kind and I could just stop by the office at any time with questions or concerns. I hosted a few parties for my cohort in the clubhouse living room and we had a blast! Living at the Baxter made my experience so ...much better and easy. I love it personally

Shoddily built with poor management to help
July 25, 2020This apartment looks very nice but we have had several issues. Our apartment does not ventilate well, so it is constantly humid in the apartment and we have mold growing in our closet. Appliances break often - we are the first people to live in our unit and so far the dish washer and the dryer have both needed repairing. Finally, management left the garage gate open for several weeks and our car was broken into. I would not recommend living here.Review from Apartments.com
