It's more like a neighborhood than an apartment complex. The grounds are well maintained. There is plenty for the kids to do. The pool is so relaxing, and never crowded. The only thing I can say I dont like is the floors in the townhomes. They could upgrade from whatever laminate faded wood thats in there now. It never looks clean no matter how much you clean it. Charlestown Apartments has mice. They do nothing to get rid of them but put down traps. All the townhomes have mice especially downstairs. Do not move here !!!!!!

This apartment complex is amazing! Smack dab in the middle of everything from the Middletown area to a quick drive to Bardstown road, you really couldn't ask for a better location. The staff are amazing and really care about making sure that you feel secure and welcome. I would really recommend this property to anyone, I've been here for a couple of years now and through the pandemic they really did go above and beyond making me feel even more at home!!! -----Diana and Natalie are the best!!

I lived at Charlestown for over 4 years and it’s an excellent place to live. Management and maintenance are always friendly and accommodating to any needs I had in the townhome. After renting a one bedroom for the past year, I have nothing but great things to say about the team and complex at Charlestown of Douglass Hills! The property is very affordable for the area and the office staff are always welcoming and accommodating. I only had to reach out maintenance one time and they responded within the hour! Plus, the complex is located in the heart of Douglass Hills park which was great for walking my dog and running! Definitely recommend!

have lived here for several years and just renewed my lease again. Natalie and DeeAnn in the office are always friendly and accommodating in addressing any issues or concerns I have. It is also a great value for Middletown.

Once i had move in the apartment for good and everything was fine but after two months of living here i have been catching mice over and over and the apartment does nothing about it ! They tell you to put mice traps down and that’s about all … if you live here just don’t live on the first floor ! Decent price but that’s about all .
