Chateau Apartments
September 13, 2015I've only lived here for 3 months, but so far, it's been a great experience. The office staff are very friendly and attentive. It's an old apartment complex, but they maintain it very well. There's a maintenance man onsite every day, Monday through Friday, and when I called with a maintenance request, he came over and fixed the problem the same day. Before moving in, I had some concerns about living in a place that's so old, but my apartment is nicer than I expected it would be. My rent is at ...least $200 less per month than it would be at any other similar place in this area. The neighborhood is really safe, and it's within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in Hillsboro Village. My only complaint is that I can hear my upstairs neighbor walking around all the time, but I think I'd have that issue living in any older apartment. Ultimately, the location and value make this place a great find, but it stays rented to capacity all the time, so plan a couple of months out if you're thinking about moving in, and request a unit on the second floor if you can.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
