Amazingly Quiet Hidden Gem
January 15, 2026I’ve lived at Chateau Terrace Apartments since 2019, and it has truly been a great place to call home. The rental rates are consistently among the lowest in town, especially for the value you get. Maintenance and office staff are absolutely top-tier — responsive, professional, and genuinely kind, which makes a huge difference. One of my favorite things about this community is the layout. There’s no through traffic, and it feels like its own quiet little circle tucked away next to the country ...club. It’s peaceful, safe, and very well maintained. After living here for several years, I can confidently say this is one of the best hidden gems in Wilmington. August 1, 2024I love living here, I suppose there are more modern apartments elsewhere but this is a neighborhood, Mature trees grace the grounds, birds are everywhere. Rents are reasonable and the layouts have generous space! But what they do the best is service! Truly whether I put in a ticket or call the office, they are almost always here within 10 minutes! They always make sure I get whatever it is fixed. And in the event something needs a different repair, they make sure I am ok until the actual ...repair is made. Chateau Terrace -Wilmington's Best Kept Secret
August 12, 2022daughters. I love living here. The apartments are spacious and we have been able to have a garden in the back yard! The complex is pet friendly, which is perfect, as we have 2 senior rescue dogs. We have great neighbors; several who have lived here just as long as we have or longer. We have a workout center and a pool that is always well maintained. The staff is professional and friendly. Our maintenance staff is one of the best I have ever dealt with. Chateau Terrace could be your new home!
August 13, 2015If you like grassy yards and mature trees, Chateau Terrace may be right for you. We down-sized to this older complex 2 years ago. When I say 'older' read 'larger'. These well-built apartments are may not have granite counters, but rooms are generous with lots of storage to boot. Our apartment home backs up to two others. From our room-sized back porch, we enjoy a 'courtyard' garden of veggies and flowers that we cultivated. We have a sense of neighborhood, folks looking out for each other. We ...dog-sat for our gardening neighbor, when she went out of town. There is a rich diversity of tenants. Some are retired, some just starting families. Neighbors greet one another on daily walks, at the laundry, dog walks or at the pool.
