My husband and I are residents here and love living here. The entire staff is amazing. They help make these apartments feel like home. They always greet us with a smile and are very helpful for any questions or needs that may arise. The facilities are well kept and pleasant. The workout room and locker rooms are open 24/7 which is very convenient. The grounds and common rooms are kept clean and inviting. Internet and cable. Having a washer and dryer furnished is a huge bonus for apartment living. Love that there are activities for the residences too. Here at the apartments there is a restaurant, meeting rooms, exercise classes, massage therapy available, a hairdresser for men and woman plus more amenities! This is more than an apartment it is a friendly community that cares and will make you feel like home. The local area here is close to downtown Brockport and all the conveniences. In fact there is a park within walking distance and it has trails, disc golf, ball parks, dog park and other park amenities. Tired of paying utilities, mowing the lawn, shoveling and EVEN cooking? The Chateau can do it all for you. Since moving here, our life has become practically stress-free. They keep you busy with activities and games. You can exercise in their fully equipped gym or just pamper yourself at the salon or get a massage. Then stop for a bite to eat at their restaurant. Sound less stressful to you? Come and give the Chateau a try. We are glad we did.

I have to say, I moved in to this establishment four months ago and I love it. The staff is always friendly and there when I need them. There is plenty for me to do, I play cards with the girls every Monday morning. We all have "family" dinner every Wednesday night together in the restaurant. Kathy gets us our of the building. The staff here has really become my second family.

While this place is considered an independent living home, the company takes this literally. They have stripped old residents of promised amenities such as house cleaning and dining restaurant by no longer serving breakfast or offering meal plans in the rent payment. There are no workers around past 8pm on weekdays and weekends, meaning loved ones with dementia may be free to roam around and possibly get locked out - not the best option in the winter time. I am utterly shocked this place is still ...
in business seeing as a new temporary company has taken over, fired all the old workers, and stripped the place of the amenities that living homes SHOULD have at minimum. Especially for the cost, you’re much better off going somewhere fully established, fully staffed, and full of amenities and activities for your loved one. This environment is not safe for your loved ones or the elderly. Doors remain locked and there are no handicapped entrances for elderly visitors; they must park in the lot and walk around the whole building, unless they can be dropped off at the main entrance. A beautiful place, but an ugly company who doesn’t care for the workers OR the residents. They see your money. Not your humanity.

Walked right in the building and was welcomed by two wonderful ladies. On the walk through, I was shown the restaurant with the most amazing smells coming from the kitchen. The rooms are huge! I was shown a amazing fitness center that had everything I needed to do my normal work out at a gym. They even has a salon too! Warm and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door. Beautiful water fall outside as you walk in. Amazing fire place in lobby, and just as wonderful restaurant The Madeleine (open to the public). Meg is in the salon and does a wonderful job on your hair and there is a spa too! There are so many things to do for the residents through out the week. Very warm and inviting place.
