Not Worth the Health Risk

I lived at Chateau On the River and feel its important to warn prospective residents about ongoing maintenance and environmental concerns I personally
experienced.
During my stay, prior rainstorm conditions led to repeated water intrusion issues that were never fully resolved, creating persistent moisture problems inside the unit and common areas. These conditions created strong concerns about mold and mildew presence.

while I was still living in the unit, which raised additional concerns about disruption and potential exposure during ongoing living conditions. General upkeep was also inconsistent. Exterior light fixtures and stairs were not maintained and accumulated significant dust and debris. I was even told that cleaning those areas was my responsibility, which was extremely concerning for a property-level maintenance issue.
I did have an air quality test performed for mold toxicity; however, the inspector labeled the unit "livable." That conclusion did not align with my personal health experience or my medical concerns documented during that time.
I lived in this complex for 5 years, during which time it went through four different management companies. Unfortunately, each transition resulted in the same pattern - poor maintenance standards and an inconsistent, low-quality office and maintenance team.
During my residency, I also transferred from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom unit within the same complex. I do not recommend this complex based on my experience. Please take your health seriously and carefully evaluate any signs of water damage, humidity issues, and overall maintenance quality before considering living here.
