December 29, 2023The fire alarms for the whole building go off in the middle of the night. Sometimes twice in a night. Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors. People smoke in their rooms and the hallways smell. It can actually seep in from the hallway to your apartment too. Unnecessary lighting that strongly illuminates trees in the courtyard shines on bedroom windows. The vents above the stoves are weak at getting rid of cooking smells. AC/heat air intake system is very noisy and in the open ...concept living/dining/kitchen area. Appliances are not good: dishwashers, refrigerators, and washer/drier are GE and very noisy. The floors are wobbly when walking across the apartment. The AC takes a long time to cool down the apartment. The only thing luxury-grade is the rental price. Property management representative generally deflects from solving any problems. A couple nice things: the repair and custodial staff are excellent!
