Ownership Doesn’t Care About You, Run Away
March 23, 2026RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!! Every maintenance man and property manager that has any sense of morality has already fled the property because they can’t stand the lack of care ownership shows. I would avoid this spot, you can do so much better. I really hope I can save you. Pool hasn’t worked in a year and a half. Faux luxury. They give a mean landlord special though, they’ll make sure your apartment just barely works, never truly fixing anything. Moved in 2/13 and have had nothing but problem after ...problem. Have had to move my work schedule around so that management can send contractor after contractor into my apartment to fix things that should have been addressed before I even moved in. Couldn’t take a shower in my own apartment for the first month or so, that should have told me something. I genuinely don’t even think it’s the property manager or maintenance persons fault. This boils down to scummy landlords prioritizing their money over you. Find another spot, there’s nothing for you here. Rent an apartment down the street and walk up here if you want a view, no one is stopping you from doing so. And if you do live into an apartment that isn’t ready and decide you want to move out, get ready to pay for it. They do not care about you. They do not care about you having a comfortable living space. And they show you the door with a jubilant smile as they know they just diverted you out of money.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

After 4 years living at City View apartments...
August 3, 2020I lived here for 4 years. The location is the perfect compromise between a quiet and peaceful place and close to everything like grocerie stores, Newport on the levee, downtown Cincinnati etc... The new managment does a great job! They make things moving in the right way: they constantly upgrade things, the maintenance is quick, they organise social parties... Relaxing on my balcony in the evening, with the skyline view is my favorite.Review from Apartments.com

Great location and view.
September 12, 2016Love the view and location. Close to lots of stores, bars and entertainment. Nice that the commute is only a couple of miles to downtown and you don't have to get on the highway. Everything is well maintained. Small complex in a residential neighborhood makes you feel like part of the community. Nice that it is surrounded by old growth trees so close to the city. The Roeses throughout the complex are beautiful and bloom all season. Parking for residents is but for guests not the greatest. ...But the office will deliver your requested guest passes to your doorstep which is nice. Is a great location to watch the fireworks on the river. Overpriced for the view among many things
August 7, 2016City View is okay but overpriced. The view is why. Decks are deteriorating, need to be stained. Community grills are disgusting. Towing company that patrols parking lot consistently tows resident vehicles and charges us when we have a pass. Towne Properties does nothing above and beyond the bare minimum. Great View, Appears Nice, Quiet
September 14, 2015City View has a great view (from the pool/deck/patio area) and it is a decent apartment complex. I lived there for two years and enjoyed my time. The managers keep the property relatively clean and the environment is usually very quiet. It is a short commute to downtown. On the downside, two of the buildings are older and not renovated. Over the two years I lived there, we had three different property management companies; so lot of turnover, for better and for worse. Also, over the last six ...months that I lived there, my roommate and I had troubles with mice on several occasions (and we did not live on the ground floor). "City View" Name says it all!
September 11, 2015Most apartments have a name that has little to do with the actual apartment itself. More often than not its some sort of tree, yet that tree is nowhere to be found within a hundred miles. City View Apartments is exactly how it sounds. By far the best view of the city I have ever seen and its right in the back yard. The best part about the view is you can swim and grill out while taking a look. The view isnt the only thing the location has to offer. City view is located right in the heart of ...Newport. Its a 2 minute drive to anything you need. City view offers a wide range of apartment options. All of which are well kept and up to date. Service is a call away and there in a timely manner. Need a light bulb replaced...you got it. City view as far as I can see has it all. Great neighbors, great service, great view, and a great experience.
