    City View is in a very convenient area love the fact that there are restaurants right down stairs and you can walk just a block to the kea center and downtown night life is also just a few blocks away you don’t even have to move your car from the garage it’s great also the rooftop pool is AMAZING

    Living at City View has been one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve ever had. This building is severely mismanaged, lacks accountability, and shows no concern for its residents. I dealt with a roach infestation for several months, repeatedly notifying management, only to be met with indifference. I was essentially expected to “deal with it” rather than receive consistent or effective pest control. No resident should have to live that way, especially while paying full rent. I was ...
    also overcharged due to a faulty water meter and paid extra as a result. Despite this being brought to management’s attention, I was never contacted about compensation or a credit, nor was the issue resolved in a transparent way. When I moved units, I never received my security deposit. Instead, it was applied to fees that were never clearly explained or disclosed to me beforehand. On top of that, there is still over $400 in credit owed to me that has not been transferred to my account, dating back to May 2025. Multiple follow-ups have gone unanswered. Residents pay for amenities as part of their rent, yet nearly all amenities have been unavailable for over a year. The only exception has been the pool, which is not routinely cleaned or properly maintained. Paying for services you don’t receive feels dishonest and unfair. Overall, City View is a poorly managed building with no visible leadership or responsibility. Communication is lacking, financial handling is questionable, and resident concerns are routinely ignored. I would strongly caution anyone considering moving here to think twice and read reviews carefully before signing a lease.

    They do things here is very different and other government or apartment buildings very weird. It’s not safe. They need more cameras. They like to bring the rain up, but we cannot use anything in the building no gym no library no nothing no yard.

    I arrived at City View apartments after 2 category 5 Caribbean hurricanes. Gratitude is all I have each day to reside downtown. I appreciate the rooftop pool for my hydrotherapy exercises. I do worry about getting priced out because of what the real estate market allows in the 8 years as a resident who is a senior citizen. As the economy changes, I have observed many changes where I reside. I remain a neighbor helping neighbors because solutions will emerge as remedies are found. Again most of ...
    all, gratitude is all I have to maintain housing plan as a senior citizen. My hope is to get solutions to a cap on what the real estate market will allow re rental increases.

    Just to let you guys know I am the longest tenant in the building. I have been there since the building open. I have been very happy here. It’s a wonderful place to live and when they finish with all of what’s going on, I’m sure it’ll be really good we’re on a program.     The staff is very friendly. Whenever I have an issue they do their best to get it resolve. I appreciate the office staff and the maintenance crew.

    Staff Disrespectful & VERY Unprofessional. They Lie So Much Here & Don’t Communicate And Don’t Respect They Renters Nor Do They Act Like We Are Welcomed It’s Horrible Here I Just Moved Here Now & It’s Sooo Much Already! Definitely Need Better Staff Overall

    This building has gone down since the Avanath group has taken over! We have been without our main elevators working for well over 2 months! Totally unacceptable and yet there’s no rent deduction or word of what’s going on! The rooftop parking lot is full of trash and is never cleaned up and only gets nastier each week! Mold is throughout the building! The bottom floor has been under renovation for well over a year and we’ve not had access to the pool room or any other amenities that we should ...
    have! There needs to be backup lights in the hallways on all floors! Residents are not happy and there seems to be no urgency in getting this building up to where it’s supposed to be!
