Scheduled a tour, but was stood up

I had a tour scheduled for this apartment complex but unfortunately was stood up. I booked the tour through Apartments.com and arrived as planned. I later learned that the leasing agent had emailed about an hour before the scheduled tour to confirm the tour, but since I was getting ready I didn’t see the email in time (I typically expect a text or call for time-sensitive confirmations). hour passed with no call and no one ever showed up.(He never reached back out.)
Since I was on a tight schedule and came from out of state specifically to apartment hunt, this was frustrating and left a poor first impression. If this is how potential tenants are handled, it raised concerns about how current residents may be treated as well. As a result, I crossed this property off my list.

It seems there may have been a small miscommunication, and I sincerely apologize for any part I played in that. During our conversation, I mentioned that I would call you again once I arrived on the property. I did come over immediately after we spoke, and I attempted to reach you by phone twice, but both calls went to voicemail.
I understand how that could have been confusing or disappointing. I should have followed up with an email as well, and I apologize for not doing so. We care deeply about our residents and prospective residents, and we would truly appreciate the opportunity to turn this around.
