Cosy home, excellent management, great neighbors

I have lived here for years and really feel at home here. The On-Site Managers have always been warm & attentive, and have solved any issues on the spot. The amazing Maintenance Manager, Viktor, does the same in his role. It is great knowing that he will promptly attend to the smallest maintenance item. And my neighbors are great - it really feels like family. And being walking distance to a supermarket, bank, post office and mall is ideal. I don't have to drive anywhere on my days off. I hope to ...

Colonial Square apartments is in a great location. It's near restaurants, shops, bus lines, parks, library, post office, movie theater. It also has great parking, a decent sized indoor pool, and nice landscaping. A 1-bedroom is smaller than 500 square feet,the only way to get to the tiny bathroom is through the bedroom. There are a lot of screaming children running around in the summer, and if your apartment window is next to one of the tennis courts, you will also hear a lot of noises related to ...

that. The walls are extremely thin. Most of the downsides are not that big of a deal, except that colonial square charges you for every little thing and they over charge you for it if they can, or they wait a year and try to jack up your rates that way. They are currently trying to force all their tennants into paying 1400 for their under 500 square foot one-bedroom apartments. And this is on top of already having to pay separately for any other utility like water, power, renters insurance, garbage, and sewage. Plus, the water bill is averaged for everybody since this used to be a motel. That means you'll be splitting the bill evenly, even though some apartments have six people in them. In any case, if you get a good deal on your move in price, that's great. Just don't plan on staying past the first year or they'll get you.
