Don't waste your time or money
April 7, 2026?I strongly advise anyone considering The Colony Townhomes to look elsewhere. Since signing my lease, it has been a never-ending cycle of maintenance issues. I have had to submit requests almost every month for everything from leaking washing machines to clogged disposals. ?The most recent incident was the breaking point. Yesterday morning, I discovered a leak in my garage ceiling coming from the second floor. Maintenance’s "fix" was simply placing a bucket under the leak and marking the request ...as resolved. By the afternoon, the leak had worsened. When I went to the front office to ask for an actual repair, I was met with complete indifference. ?The office staff dismissed my concerns, stating that because it was the weekend, they couldn’t get a vendor out until Monday. While they provided one temporary parking pass for my car, they flatly refused to provide a second pass for the healthcare staff who come daily to care for my special-needs son. Telling a resident that they aren’t "responsible for guests" in the middle of a maintenance emergency—especially when those "guests" are essential caregivers—is heartless and unprofessional. These properties are falling apart, yet the rent continues to rise. The management team functions strictly as rent collectors and shows no interest in maintaining a safe or habitable environment for their tenants. Save your time, your money, and your sanity—stay away from this complex.Property Manager Responded

Disappointment!
March 1, 2024By reading other reviews it seems like I am not the only one that was not able to look at the apartment until the move in date! Nothing to do with the model apartments, waited 3 hours at the lobby to finalize the sign off contract! Unit was dirty, fridge dented, carpet and walls with spots, missing outlets. Very disappointed! Stay away
April 4, 2023Freeway noise is unbearable. They hire a towing company to tow anyone without a pass even though there are tons of open spots. They do this to force you to pay an extra $200 per month. Repairs take forever to complete.Review from Apartments.com

June 30, 2019They just implemented a new parking policy where you have (as tenant) have to pay EXTRA $100 to be able to park your car in the compound. Outside the garage. That’s PER MONTH. Guest parking is NONE. So anyone who visits will have to park outside and walk about 2 blocks to you place. Packages and mail often get stolen.Review from Apartments.com
What a disappointment!
April 5, 2018We moved here from Las Vegas a month ago. We were not allowed to see our actual unit until move in day. They were more than happy to show the model though. Now I know why. I would have passed if I was able to see my unit ahead of time. Filthy banged up appliances, leaky refrigerator, disgusting tile floors (dirty, missing grout, many chips), sloppy paint job, cabinets that look like they were scratched by a huge dog, the list goes on and on. On top of all that I have seen several pit bulls in ...the complex which are supposedly not allowed. July 19, 2017My two boys and I were new to California. The staff, Anntoinette, Anthony, even the maintenance manager, Phil were nothing but amazing to us. Friendly, kind, and extremely helpful. We moved in and have stayed now 13 months. The grounds are beautiful and the pools are always kept clean. If anything ever needs to be fixed it's done in a timely manner. October 27, 2015I moved in over a month ago and I have to say I was very happy with the whole process of this move to my new home. The townhomes here at the Colony are very spacious and well maintained. The staff is friendly. The amenities mean I do not have to pay for a gym membership any longer as they have a fitness center and a pool. I was able to move into a unit with a nice view.
