Absolutely horrible!!!! Zero rating
September 28, 2020The apartments were doing quite well when Avalon was the owner. Once Columbia Glade took over the place went down hill. Problems picking up the trash the smell was unbearable. The swimming pool was filthy and open in spite of The fact that the pool guy said he was not given any chemicals that day to put in the water. Cobwebs on the steps the place became a filthy mess. Management is very unprofessional and unreliable. They refuse to put money out to repair a major unit. They will not call a ...professional but use the same maintenance man for everything. Temperatures in the 80s 90s near 100 and they will let you suffer before they hire a professional AC technician or get the unit replaced. After you move out they will try to collect for false damages. You will probably have to go to court to get your security deposit back on them. Just because the majority of people are on section 8 does not mean that they do not have an obligation to keep the place up to par. I recommend shopping someplace else or even paying a little bit more money to have a decent place. I attempted to have mediation with them. They sent Ashley And an inexperienced lawyer to lie and say that the AC was never out of commission. After proof was provided to them they changed their story and said I should have just stayed there regardless of the conditions. Wonderful Community
March 26, 2019Columbia Glade is a wonderful community thanks to the fabulous property management team. It is a quiet, well-maintained property with spacious apartments. The property manager and office staff are welcoming, very friendly, and willing to work with renters on any issue, question, or concern. The maintenance team members are knowledgeable, efficient, quick to respond and always friendly. I take issue with some of the earlier posts highlighting matters during the ownership transition. The earlier ...posts fail to acknowledge that transitions are never one-sided. I know for a fact, that the previous ownership, both at the local and corporate level, pulled away from property and renter problems well before the transition, which created chaos and contributed to every breakdown issue. I am grateful this transition is now complete. Again, Columbia Glade is a terrific community with an exceptional property management team. February 19, 2019New management is terrible and their website lies. There's no 24 hr maintenance, the gym belongs to the next complex over. "Recycle bins throughout" means 1 total and I don't even know where it is, but I've been assured it exists.Review from Apartments.com
The worst place I have ever lived
January 24, 2019By far the worst experience we have ever had living at an apartment. Ever since new management took over it has been almost unbearable. Management is clueless as to what needs to be done around the grounds. I called to tell them that dog bags had been out for 2 weeks and they said they had no idea they were out. They drive past those cans every day and a simple walk around the property would have fixed that. We asked to be called back about some storage space and they said they would do so but ...it’s been a few days and still no call. When they took over, trash wasn’t picked up for weeks and it piled up. They took all of our recycling bins from us and had the nerve to tell us that they hadn’t been there in the first place. I think we would know better having lived here for a couple years. This new management company is a complete mess. I’ve never seen any business in general run so poorly and as soon as our lease is up you can bet we’re moving out. Absolutely Terrible
December 21, 2018Management is extremely difficult to work with - they're just straight up mean when you talk with them. Since taking over the property a few months ago, they've been asking for patience, yet not being patient with you when you talk to them. Trash is always overflowing since they took over as well as recycling. On top of that, they have the gall to send out a notice saying that we don't know how to recycle and a little "how-to" for recycling.
