I want to start by noting that the claims of having a pool and fitness center are dishonest. They have a room with two stationary bikes and a treadmill, but residents aren't allowed in. They have a hole in the ground that could hold enough water to swim in, but they never filled it with water. So it's not a pool, it's just a hole filled with stagnant rain water. Well, a hole and a metaphor.
They're also gaming the review system. They request reviews from residents on their own portal, and then
...send the positive ones to this site, but not the accurate, negative ones. The current review score is artificially inflated, and even then it's a bad score.
The actual apartments are poorly constructed of cheap materials. It's so cheap the bathtub isn't waterproof and the closet doors simply fall off without anyone touching them. The floor is warped and you can feel a breeze through the doors and windows.
Maintenance is rarely performed, and never performed correctly. Repairs require submitting the same request repeatedly for months, and even then are usually ignored. Repair requests I submitted the same day I moved in still haven't been addressed years later. If you mention this, they simply deny that the request even exists. One or two of the repairmen actually do their jobs, but that's not enough people to address this level of blight.
The office staff are lazy, rude, dishonest, and incompetent. Even worse, they're condescending and blame residents for their own failures. I had to send the same paperwork to every person in the office multiple times because they kept losing it.
Recently, some staff members told me that I should move out because I own too many books. That actually happened. I couldn't make that up if I tried, because I couldn't conceive of something that stupid. Employees told me I shouldn't live there, and the reason was that I own too many books. Apparently calling the staff incompetent was a compliment, they actively despise tenants and want them to leave.
Though I do concede their point, I shouldn't live here. No one should live here!
