Pleasant Place to Live
May 21, 2022I enjoyed living there for six months last year. It was a quite nice and pleasant place to live with good amenities. A grocery store and a Starbucks were located on the first level, which made my life convenient. It's about 15 minutes walk to the center of Cambridge, which was also a good exercise.Review from Apartments.com

2 Year Resident
February 23, 2019I have lived here for almost two years and the ONLY reason we have stayed is the convenience. I am close to school and Trader Joe’s on the first floor is amazing. But the building is terrible - so poorly built - I can hear everything through the walls, from neighbors talking to upstairs neighbors walking around, to the bus noise from outside. The noise is unbearable and I have spent $1000 on headphones, etc to try to enable me to sleep. I have had packages disappear, been locked out of my ...apartment because the battery on my fob died, among other minor issues that all add up to make living here miserable. Some of the front door attendants are really great and others are terrible, leaving the desk unattended for long periods of time. There are several Airbnb-type temporary units so your neighbors can be changing constantly and you have little control over that. If you are moving to the area, particularly if you’re a student (as most of the residents here are), I would very strongly recommend you look elsewhere. Continuum Resident
December 15, 2017I just finished a year lease and moved out. We were participating in a Harvard program so the location was ideal for us. Pet friendly, 24 hour concierge, under ground parking and the exercise room were what sold the property for us. They recently opened a Trader Joe's on the ground floor, which is convenient, but we were on the 4th floor above the loading docks. You can hear the trucks and moving crates at 6 am and all through the day. The North building does not have a concierge desk so you have ...to walk over for a concierge or to get a cart. The exercise room is well equipped. We were able to keep our parking underground when Trader Joe's opened but many lost their spots. Trader Joe's claims most of the spots except for one row against the wall. At the moment there is outdoor parking at the lot next door. I thought the concierge staff was attentive but they can have an "attitude".Property Manager Responded

New building, bad management
September 20, 2016I'm a current resident here and I completely agree with the previous review on this place. What attracted me were the shiny new amenities, 24 hour concierge (not really 24 hours since they are mostly not at their desk), and the obvious benefits of a luxury building at a discounted price due to its in the middle of nowhere location. After a few months of living here, the amount I'm paying is really not worth it. There are almost no good restaurants in the area save for The Breakfast Club. They ...pride themselves on being pet friendly (more like money friendly) with a hefty $75 pet rent per month, and yet if my dog accidentally pees in the lobby (only happened a few times when I first moved in), I get nasty attitude from management telling me to go upstairs, grab a paper towel and wipe it up myself. Management barely replies to me or my roommate's emails. The general manager also spelled my name wrong when emailing me despite my name being in my email address. They've threatened me with eviction even though I didn't violate any lease terms. It is a new apartment with great amenities and apartments, however in my honest opinion it is definitely not worth what I'm paying and I will not be continuing my lease here. February 5, 2016Seems that the previous review was written by the management office. I am an ACTUAL resident of the building and look forward to moving out. Unless you attend or work at HBS, there is no reason to live here. You can live in much better locations across the city (Seaport, Back Bay, Kendall, etc) in similar quality/amenitized properties with much better management / service for the same price. Nearly everyone I have spoken to in the building has the same perspective. Management is consistently ...slow in responding to requests and delivers subpar performance. Is it bad living here? No. Is it worth what they are charging? Absolutely not. It's nice living in a new building but it is certainly not on par with legitimate "luxury" buildings in Boston/Cambridge and there is a general feeling of discontent among residents.
