November 23, 2024The maintenance team here at cooper ridge is really nice and friendly but they can’t seem to resolve the problem with the air conditioning unit. They tried to fix the problem multiple times with in one month but still couldn’t seem to fix the problem. Hopefully with them putting in the upgraded conditioning system will fix the issue. Then back in 2022 I had a water leak from the people who lived above me at the time and still to this day I have the same water spots in my ceiling and walls . ...Other then that cooper ridge apartments is a okay place to liveRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
Definitely better than some other apartments
April 15, 2024My name is Ms. Hamm. I had a few issues that came up but the staff came to the rescue to help me. Mrs. Alcala and Mr. Dube with the Regional office took immediate action to help me. Mrs. Peets the property manager did everything to accommodate as well. Maintenance crew does a great job to repair any issues that we face on the property. Wonderful Complex
July 11, 2019Cooper Ridge is great. My elderly father and I just moved out and trust me when I say its a great place. The maintenance guys work hard every day to clean up other peoples stuff trash. When they came to my dads apartment they were always respectful and helpful. I have met with every single person in the office and theyre so great. Thanks again guys.Property Manager Responded

Do Not Recommend
July 10, 2019I lived back in the complex in 2014 and I couldn’t have sang any higher praises about the complex which is why I wanted to move back here in March of this year. I was also extremely excited about gated access due to being a single female. I have not had that wonderful experience this time around. The gate hasn’t functioned in the last 4 months so it doesn’t provide the safety I wanted in an apartment complex. Second the one bedroom apartments aren’t very big which is fine but there is no pantry ...so I use the laundry area for a pantry and use on site laundry, which we have now just been informed we are losing completely. The only options being presented is to pay an additional $40-50 a month to rent a washer/dryer from the complex, use a laundromat a few miles away or purchase your own washer and dryer. Another huge issue for me is our trash compactor. Several times over the last 2 months the trash piles up outside of the compactor which can sometimes stay there from 5pm until 10am the next morning. It blocks access to the compactor as well as smells horrible with the heat, is disgusting and embarrassing to look at considering it’s the first thing people see when they drive in while also attracting rats, roaches and raccoons. I’ve contacted management several times about the trash issue and they have requested me to stop sending such frequent photos of the trash and they are aware of the issue. They do eventually clean up the trash the next day but the problem is the situation never actually gets resolved. It is just a continuing problem week to week. If any of this matters or is important to you, I would recommend looking into other options. I’m only in the 4th month of my lease and would absolutely leave if I had 3 months rent to pay to break it.Property Manager Responded

We sincerely apologize that are gates are not functional at this time. We can assure you that although the process will take some time, we are on the right track to possibly being a gated community in the future. Please do keep in mind that our access gates do not provide nor guarantee security. We will keep our residents posted as we work towards a resolution! We will continue to monitor the trash compactor on a daily basis. Our maintenance staff works very hard to keep the area clean. Unfortunately, we cannot control the trash at the compactor during non-business hours. If we do not get the trash picked up first thing each morning, please do let us know! Your feedback is very important to us, and we want a clean community for our residents to enjoy. We are so sorry that you have had a negative experience. No quite hour's as they promise & drug activity
November 27, 2017Trash everywhere, you sign ALL these amendments that you cannot do, yet it still happens! No matter how many times you complain about the noise, the front office does nothing. They make a lot of promuses like, this is the best place to live... Please! The front office people act like they're 12. It's good for short term, I would not recommend it.Review from Apartments.com

Not a bad place to live
August 8, 2015The buildings are fairly quiet, despite being located alongside Ladson road. It's a good area; close to everything, with more business being built all the time. Third floor apartments have really high ceilings, which is nice. I don't know if I have quiet neighbors or sound doesn't travel well through the walls, but I rarely hear any noise. The porches are a decent size with huge storage closets. Decent water pressure and quick maintenance whenever anything breaks. The service and maintenance crew are fast and get the job done. The staff has been nothing but helpful and pleasant.
