Worst place to live in Allendale!

In my opinion, this is the worst complex in Allendale. The apartments are maintained very poorly and the total cost is higher than almost all places in Allendale. While the rent is only $500 utilities are more than $200 per person. Also repairs are never made promptly. The front door of my unit has been broken since I moved in - which allowed my apartment to be burglarized twice. The management didn't say sorry, nor did they fix the door. Also there is dog poop everywhere!!!

I have enjoyed living at Copper Beech. The apt is very large and had nice appliances. The parking is free and there was always plenty of parking spaces available. The management knows everyone by name and would be prompt when answering questions. Its a good price and also pet friendly if that is what you are looking for.
Cheap but at a Cost

For a college student looking to move out for the first time, this place is great. Great rent rates, good bus system, close to everything you need, campus and otherwise. But my god the management is horrific. Moved in and noticed the wood was rotting under the porch door. Took a full year for the floor to be replaced and recovered with vinyl. Took them a month to tear up the floor, and then 11 months of us fighting management to simply lay a piece of vinyl over the exposed wood. Took a threat of ...
legal action, and suddenly the floor was finished within two hours. Multiple shootings and a couple murders at this location, however, again, for the size and price, I can't complain too much, you get what you pay for.
