I lived at Cortesia for a little over a year, the apartment itself is ok, it spacious but that’s about it. It’s really old, the appliances (refrigerator, washer & dryer and dish washer) are ancient! The carpet is also disgusting. When I moved in, the carpet was covered in dog hair. Although they shampooed it, it did not make a difference. doing, everything!! Including when they shower and flush the toilet. It was such a nuisance! Another thing is parking, you will never find parking after 5 pm. Permits are given but they’re not enforced. Lastly, they will not return your security deposit. When I moved, I made sure to keep it clean, I received a statement for cleaning and painting. If you leave your apartment in normal wear-and-tear, it’s illegal for them to charge you for cleaning and paint. Make sure you take pictures to contest these charges. The move-out statement is also very deceiving, the charges, deductions and credits are all in the same line, it’s very confusing. Just avoid this place.
