Great place to live!
February 5, 2025I have really enjoyed living at Cortland Cary! The amenities are great, love the gym(s) and pools. The maintenance team is always quick to respond whenever needed. The office staff is always friendly and personable, a very welcoming community. I also appreciate the variety of events they host - there's always something, kid-friendly activities to social gatherings for residents. Living at Cortland

Not Worth the Money
September 28, 2024I have been living here for almost two years and things have continued to decline even though rent continues to increase. Maintenance has let themselves into my apartment multiple times while I am home which is terrifying. I have been asking for the bike in the gym to be fixed for almost a year now and they just keep telling me it is “fixed” even though nothing has changed. The fob system has not worked at all since I moved in so the building is not secure. And now I have found COCKROACHES in my ...apartment over the last several days and when I called the office to try to get help, they said I would need to wait 4 days until the pest management guy comes again.Property Manager Responded

He was very prompt and knowledgeable he took care of the issue with no problem plus, he had a very positive attitude. going downhill
August 26, 2023When this place first opened, it was great. Over the past 2 years, it has gone downhill. Landscaping, residents from neighboring apartment complexes using our amenities, and maintenance has declined. I even got bit by a dog on this property and filed a complaint per their policy. Never heard from admin as I was supposed to per the front desk staff. Cortland Cary has even hired one of the residents to do landscaping in order to cut costs, but they keep raising our rent.Property Manager Responded
August 29, 2023Hello, We appreciate and value your feedback as a resident of Cortland Cary. We are sorry to hear that you have not been as pleased with the community over your 2 years of living here. We have recently hired a full-time groundskeeper in an effort to keep our grounds looking beautiful, along with our landscaping team. Our groundskeeper is a current resident of Cortland Cary, as is 50% of our current team. We made the decision to hire a current resident that was looking for employment because we know he already has a level of care for the community and will work hard to maintain it alongside the rest of our team. Hiring a resident is not something done to cut costs, as we do not pay team members any differently if they live at our community or elsewhere. We are currently sharing our amenities with one of our sister communities while they undergo renovation of their own amenities. We know that our sister communities would allow our residents use of their spaces if needed in a similar ...situation. I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with a dog in our community. In any case of incidents like this occurring, we do our best to handle the situation along with local law enforcement and animal control. Horrible Management!
March 20, 2023If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is far from luxury! Last year the staff was awesome, now it's awful. Since property manager Gabby took over this place has really gone downhill. Overpriced rent for a poorly run property. Look elsewhere!Property Manager Responded

Great staff!
September 3, 2021The leasing office staff always respond to me in a friendly, timely manner. I know they must be overwhelmed after Solis Alston was purchased & merged into one large property w/Cortland Cary yet I always receive professional, swift service. Our mailroom for packages is currently being switched over to another system and we have been notified by the leasing office.
