And it’s not just because of the beautiful apartment or the well-kept grounds—though those are wonderful—but because of the Cottages team. The kindness, warmth, and genuine courtesy of the Cottages team have made all the difference. They always remember who I am, even though I rarely call, and when I do, they respond with such promptness and care. The Best place to live in Knoxville
March 19, 2024I have lived here for going on 4 years now and have no complaints. The apartments are great, the neighbors are friendly, and the property is maintained well. January 10, 2023We have lived at the Cottages for two years and have truly enjoyed living here. We love the location, the amenities, and the property management! The maintenance staff always completes any maintenance requests the day of or the day after the request is submitted and the property is very well maintained. The management is very organized, professional, and quick to respond to any needs. The Cottages are a very quiet community and definitely recommend living here. Wonderful Place To Call Home
August 24, 2022The Cottages on Tazewell is a wonderful place to call home! We just renewed our lease, we have lived here for four years now. They offer so many nice amenities, large swimming pool, exercise room, outdoor grill, and a large patio area to entertain. My husband loved having his birthday party there a couple of years ago. There is a nice outdoor gas fire pit with chairs all around to enjoy when cool weather arrives. The clubhouse has some type of entertainment or meals going on ...almost every month. Directed by the staff and they do an outstanding job to include every age group. My husband and I are seniors and we love all the lively activities. Our condo/apartment is a large spacious 2 bedrooms with 2 full baths. The closet and storage space accommodate so much. Love having the washer and dryer available in the apartment too. The high ceilings with lighted ceil fans are nice, but what I love most are the large windows allowing so much natural light. My husband and I have a nice patio which we sat on almost daily and love it! We are greeted by friendly neighbors and get to enjoy their pets as they take them for walks. This is a very animal-friendly neighborhood, we know a lot of the dogs by first names! We can't forget what makes this place outstanding and that is the STAFF. They are so helpful in all situations. They are courteous, and friendly and make everyone feel so welcome! The location excels with medical facilities nearby, stores, and restaurants. Wonderful locations for seniors but love being surrounded by youth and young couples! We highly recommend this as "Home" to anyone looking for a beautiful place to live. Be Careful
July 8, 2021Where to begin. 1. Very overpriced. 2 The staff is courteous and put on a nice smile, but real problems never get resolved. I'm sorry you feel we are overpriced, but we are priced similarly to all A properties in our area. Although we are multi-family and you will hear your neighbors from time to time, I'm sure there is something we can do to notify your neighbors of your experience. Sometimes people just are unaware of how loud they are. Also, I'd really like to discuss your billing issues as I am currently unaware of any billing issues for any resident. Renters Beware!
June 10, 2021Staff appeared to be very accommodating during the sign up process, but things changed quickly after I was locked into a lease. Maintenance requests not resolved, 2 rents increases in less than 4 months, recycle bins are often overflowing on the weekends & sometimes spilling out into the street, birds nesting in an exhaust vent because it's missing a cover, half of the dog park was unusable because of mud & standing water. I would caution anyone who is considering a property owned by DLH ...Properties Inc. to really do their homework. Used to be great
January 25, 2018Completely changed once the property was unexpectedly bought out with no notice to current tenants. The Cottages used to be great, but now they are just like all the other money hungry complexes. They havent wanted to work with us at all to leave once we bought a house, even though the staff at the time of signing our lease said they would. Now we are having to pay 2 months rent and forfeit our security deposit as a penalty even though weve been talking about it with the new property manager for ...months. They cleaned house on the great staff that used to run the complex and it is definitely not the same. They are also paying their residents for positive reviews so take those with a grain of salt.Property Manager Responded

Really Nice!
October 15, 2017We have lived here just over a year and have enjoyed it. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. With energy efficient appliances including the washer and dryer, utility bills are low. The grounds are kept immaculately and the pool is like a vacation resort.
